Normally you first choose gods that are too good in general, then move to gods that their opponents are best known for choosing. For example, Aror should not be allowed to play Hercules.

The production value of the smite world championships has steeply fell. No special animations and voice lines for when characters are picked. FDOT and Hindu man didn't scream the names and roles of each player. The casters voices weren't as crisp. HiRez will lose their community if they don't commit more money to this awesome game.
