I actually was really curious to see what Sarah was doing now. I found an article dated in 2013, unfortunately Sarah's father and stepmother were both arrested for physically assaulting her. The charges against her father were dropped because he attended parenting classes, a restraining order was taken out against the stepmother, and she went to go live with her mother's mother. because I'm kind of a creep I found her Facebook page too, looks like she's doing okay now and has a couple of little babies. Such a sad story but I wish her the best ❤️

The interview was headed by Elizabeth Smart, a victim of kidnapping herself. True crime stories are always really intriguing to me and it’s interesting to see them done in an ASMR style, especially without trying to make light of the story to make it less scary. You can tell you did a lot of really good and comprehensive research and I’m really glad I found these videos! The combination of the relaxing and slightly creepy/uneasy feeling is really different and cool ^^
This happened practically in my back yard. MT.Vernon is less than thirty miles from the town in which I live. He had a fixation for leaves. His apartment was filled with bags of leaves. He (Hoffman) could've left the Herman home much sooner than he did, however, there was,a general consensus among law enforcemt that he waited for these people to come back home. They also feel that he'd seen Sarah at one point and he was fixated on her. The guy is a pure psychopath.

I went to school with Sarah and my uncle worked at fast eddies with Matthew. My uncle and him were really close friends and he was devastated when he found out what happened. I remember at school when everyone found out what had happened and no amount of words can describe how strange and saddening it is. The whole community of Mt Vernon felt like it went silent for a couple days and the Dairy Queen that Tina worked at closed down for a year or two. I think they should’ve left his house to rot or tear it down, but they rented it out again after a couple years :/ I’m almost 22 now and I still can’t believe something like that happened in such a nice small town like this
Love the combination! Usually not before bed, but if I have time during the weekend to relax and rest my eyes. I binge listen to these at the same time, it’s a nice relaxing brain workout 😉❤️ and your voice 😩

I don’t usually comment on ASMR vids but with you you’re fast becoming my favourite. Your whispers give me tingles and your a delight to watch. Please keep doing these types of ASMR/CRIME stories I love it 😊 as for the murderer in this story he knew the house and it would have started with noticing the young girl a day before and followed her. I believe it’s all about the young girl and that all the murders were plotted, he knew exactly what he was doing. Also I could run through a whole house in under 10 minutes if was robbing it not walk around for an hour. Anyways keep up the good work love your vids 👌

First of all ASMR and horror are the ultimate combo. Also Idk if you have watched the youtube channel "Horror Stories" but he does similar videos and they're so creepy and i LIVE for them.
i usually avoid true crime videos at night when i'm alone but for some reason i can handle true crime when it's asmr lmao the atmosphere isn't as scary and the whispering doesn't make the video any creepier. in fact i feel a lot more comfortable and safe.
