    Hi Andy, I may have missed it but did you shuttle to the trailhead or drive? Thanks for the work to create this. I'm headed there mid-September this year. Nice work!

    • @AndyParrishOutdoors
      @AndyParrishOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We took the shuttle.
      The limitations on when cars were allowed up to the trailhead and the lack of space to park made the shuttle appear to be the easier option for us.
      Thanks for watching and have a great time is is such a beautiful place...

    I did this trip a few years ago as a part of a Wilderness Volunteers trip to rebuild the trail up to West Maroon Pass. I was 62 years old at the time but didn't have any problems. On our "day off" we all hiked over to Frigid Air Pass and back. Didn't do the Four Mountain Pass Loop trail, but it was a great time. Lots of people were on the trail because it was during July. I would advise to do this trip about the time these guys did, not so busy.

    Good job Andy!👍👍 you picked a great spot to hike your first western adventure! Us Indiana boys find it hard to breath out there don’t we? The hard part now is .... all hikes for you will be compared to the Bells. That’s a pretty high bar! Thanks for sharing! Good video! 👍👍

    • @AndyParrishOutdoors
      @AndyParrishOutdoors  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You got that right! Anything is going to be a tough comparison to the Bells.

    Great video Andy. We are also from Indiana - northside of Indy.
    Looking to do this loop next summer. Maybe I missed it - what were the dates of your trip?

    Hi Andy, Amazing video! Hoping to go this year at the end of July. The video was super helpful for preparation. Wondering how you do the interactive maps showing your route appear in the 3d map stopping at pictures along the way. Love this! Can you explain how you did this? Thanks so much!

    • @AndyParrishOutdoors
      @AndyParrishOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. I'm glad to hear the video has been useful. I use the app Relive. You can upload your GPS info and it creates that lovely 3D trail tracker view that I just love... There is a free setting and a subscription level that opens up more options.. Check it out. And good luck in July. I hope you have a great time on the 4PL!!!

    Great video. I attempted this loop last summer in early July with my east coast lungs but unfortunately the altitude got me. I went counterclockwise and by time I made it over Buckskin and got down to Snowmass it was mobbed. I was lucky to find a place to set up.

    • @AndyParrishOutdoors
      @AndyParrishOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      After coming down Buckskin pass to finish the loop I really thought counterclockwise would be a brutal direction to go. Having that huge climb on the first day would be rough...

    Curious when last year you did the 4 pass loop in 2020, was in mid to late September?
