If you navigate hyperspace wrong, you will literally be removed from existence, stuck in a place beyond time and space. 7:48 Given Baylan's age (using actor Ray Stevenson's age, 58, as reference) he would have been 30 when Order 66 was issued. That's eight years older than Anakin, and eight years younger than Obi-Wan during Order 66. It is possible he was a Jedi Master, not unlike Dooku, given that Ahsoka (who is upper Jedi Knight-level) was having difficulty against him. Honestly, Baylan makes me think of a dark side-leaning Qui-Gon. Even though he's a major antagonist in this story, he just doesn't come off as "bad" or "evil" (though Shin kind of does). On that note, Shin's actress, Ivanna Sakhno, is only 25-years-old. Using that age as reference, Shin would have been about three-years-old when Order 66 happened. This is definitely old enough that Shin could have been a Jedi youngling, saved by Baylan from the Purge, taken as his apprentice when he turned to the dark side (hence Shin's padawan braid). 18:25 Aside from being yet another "I've got a bad feeling about this" line, this also seems to suggest that Jacen is force-sensitive. Though considering his age, it's doubtful he will ever become a Jedi or receive Jedi training. Also, given how the Legends continuity's Jacen turned out... that's probably for the best. - In Legends, Jacen Solo (the first-born of Han and Leia, born 9 ABY) fell to the dark side in 40 ABY, becoming Darth Caedus, after murdering his aunt, Mara Jade Skywalker (wife of Luke Skywalker, formerly one of the Emperor's enforcers). Jacen's younger twin sister, Jaina Solo, would then seek out Boba Fett (who was still very much renowned as a Jedi-killer) and ask him to train her as a Mandalorian so she could kill Jacen/Darth Caedus (though Jacen would return to the light in the moments before he died by Jaina's blade).
I will say...as far as "what Ezra would want," that's hard to answer, but handing the map over is totally what Ezra would DO, as evidenced by him & Maul bonding over holocrons. Sometimes you gotta go into the thick of it. Trust yourself, trust the Force.
i think the difference is that maul tricked ezra, and ezra didn't know his true intentions. baylan and morgan's intention with the map was made clear to sabine, including the start of a war. if ezra knew that, i don't think he would have handed the map over IMO
The whole point of Ezra “sacrificing” himself in Rebels was to save his friends by getting rid of Thrawn. Now Sabine just did the exact opposite of what Ezra wanted
@@emme Right now my head canon says in the moment that devil's bargain after watching Ahsoka die might have looked to Sabine like a best chance to set right what happened on Lothal. Hey, Emme! Easily one of the high points of the DPlus era ranking with the heist episode of "Andor" and eclipsed only by the Season 2 finale of "The Mandalorian"! Huyang throws down! Ahsoka said the thing! "HEIR TO THE EMPIRE"! Shout-out to Timothy Zahn! Fan theories shredded as cleanly as a laser swipe from Ahsoka shredded Marrok! Either he was a gaseous alien in a pressurized suit like Johann Krauss from "Hellboy" and the Inquisitor from "Tales of the Jedi" or he was a dead Inquisitor reanimated by Elsbeth's Nightsister magick! They should have used a more phosphorescent green vapor to eliminate debate. I loved the Sabine Force fake-out that took Shin by surprise! "You have no power." "Yeah? I'm still a Mandalorian, bi%ch!" PAUL SUN-HYUNG LEE crosses over from "Mandalorian" as he reprises CARSON TEVA! Baylan knew Anakin but loathes his transformation into Vader. He genuinely respects Ahsoka. He is not a Thrawn fanboy. He feels morally obligated to fulfill a purpose that serves the greater good. His motivations remain as compelling as they are mysterious. The ladies are saying he's putting out hot daddy vibes but, whatever it is, RAY STEVENSON was magnificent! Loved Ahsoka's samurai half-squat stance with leveled sword. Baylan is a beast like an armored medieval knight with a broadsword! Heavy, arm-quaking blows! The map sphere scorches Ahsoka's hand! Did it leave an imprint in the flesh? Sabine lost Ursa and Tristan in the NIGHT OF A THOUSAND TEARS! Ahsoka prevented her from being at her family's side when Mandalore fell! Treachery! Sabine can't bring herself to abandon Ezra. This is why Jedi have no attachments! Poor kid. The 'Ghost' and the X-wing escort thought they could block the hyperspace ring from transiting but they had no idea the MEGASTRUCTURE had the power to gouge a hole in space-time right through them completely avoiding high-velocity collision! They got swept up like leaves in the backwash eddy! THE WORLD BETWEEN WORLDS! The NEXUS of all reality! Did Ahsoka die a third time or did the essence of the Daughter within her enable her to access this plane inadvertently as she fell? De-aged HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN! Snips and Skyguy reunite but why does Vader's theme play? JACEN is a chip off the old block and feels a tremor in the Force! He gets the honor of the franchise's catchphrase: "I've got a bad feeling about this." Lol. Thank you, Dave Filoni!
Good episode. But more interesting is that, we finally see Anakin as a jedi knight, clean, so pure, joking (call her snips) smiling, and without his scar made by Ventress. He has artificial arm of course, but without a scar. So this could be symbolic kind of. But Vader theme after is something that feels very, very bad. Not Anakin theme, but Vader. Ahsoka could be in a grave danger.
I am so loving this series. All the characters are very cool, and seeing everyone in live action is awesome. Also Anakin showing up at the end made me emotional, JS. Good to see our boy again!
When Baylan said "It didn't have to come to this. But you know no other way" he was 100% right though. Ahsoka challenged him and ignited her saber first. And she also used the dark side while Baylan didn't
Thanks, Emme! 🤯 I wonder the rationale as to why the makers de-aged 'Anakin' in this but not in OBI-WAN KENOBI? 🤯 And, wow, I did *not* think we'd see the World Between Worlds in live-action so soon. Dave Filoni can do anything! 🤯 It's also great that Brendan Wayne was able to show his face as one of the x-wing pilots, 'Lieutenant Lander'. 🤯 I'm guessing 'Marrok' was resurrected by Nightsister Magick, since he disappeared into green fog. Something similar happened when 'Ahsoka' killed an unidentified inquisitor in TALES OF THE JEDI... he kind of imploded. I'm guessing we'll learn more eventually. 🤯 #EmmeReacts #PeterRamsey #StarWars #Ahsoka
Now that the World Between Worlds has made a reappearance, I am hoping against all odds that Emperor Palpatine makes an appearance again. Not just because he would most likely be manipulating this whole Thrawn business from the shadows (just as he is doing with the Shadow Council and the future First Order), but because if anyone has an interest in the World Between Worlds, it's Darth Sidious. As Star Wars Rebels showed. Sidious later records in the canon book *_"Secrets of the Sith"_* his vow to continue pursuing this power. Control of the World Between Worlds (and thus control over all of existence itself) is Darth Sidious's ultimate goal, and as Ahsoka appears to have proven at the end of this episode, there is more than one way to gain access to it. And with the Emperor making clear his intentions to continue pursuing the power of the World Between Worlds in "Secrets of the Sith", I would love to see Star Wars's ultimate villain make at least one more attempt at it in whatever this next big story event/phase in the Star Wars universe is.
Hi Emme I love your reactions as episode we all agree this is the best episode ever !! finally get to see anakin and Ahsoka together in real life😢😢😢😢❤❤❤
That ending was insane! It's interesting that Anakin's lightsaber it's his Sith lightsaber. I'm also not exactly sure if that's the case or not, but I THINK his missing his scar. I'm very excited for the next episode! Your reaction was as fun as I was expecting, haha. Can't wait to watch more!
The Darth Vader music at the tale end has me extremely worried. That an Hera’s son having a bad feeling. Ashoka is about to face full terror from what will likely be a very familiar Dark Lord of the Sith impersonating Annakin.
I have a feeling that force ghost Anakin is way more powerful than we have realised. Akin to that of the Old Republic force ghosts who could continually be among the living manipulating events.
so,,this time ahsoka was pulled into the world between worlds by anakin. and next i predict ahsoka is going to enter portal leading to sabine in the new galaxy. or/and she will do something with a portal of ezras and thrawns final moment in rebels. maybe pull ezra out, and then go save sabine.
Baylan was AT LEAST trained to a Knight level at the time Ahsoka was a Padawan. Even with all her skill, she's still not as powerful as say council level Masters(much like her master not being able to best Obi-Wan, she couldn't best Anakin).
Sabine had options. She should have thrown the map over the cliff. It would have been in the water, not destroyed but they wouldn't have had it. And when he went to use the force or stop it from going over the cliff she could have shot him. Then off course Shin would have killed her but it would have been for the greater good. Till they find the map again.
Man.... How far can Chopper get that tracking beacon that's still on the ring hyperdrive to send? Depending on the distance, Rey's grandkids might get the signal back.
You are so cute, I'm glad you are enjoying the show! I think Sabine will be a great Jedi madalorian warrior with little if any force ability. But with her skills she will become the best version of herself when she learns to accept how she is. Who she is. The best version of herself will be great
Sabine thinks that she just saw Ahsoka die, and she didn't realize help was coming, so she thought that she was the last hope to both find Ezra and kill Thrawn. She knew Baylon was manipulating her, knew she was no match for him, and knew that as long as Thrawn lived, his allies would keep looking for him. I think she figured that if she could get to Thrawn, she could kill him and then free Ezra from him. In the end, that was the live-action version of the World Between Worlds from Rebels, it's a realm that exists within the Force itself.
THIS is star wars ! THIS is good saber fight :D I loved this episode so much... Music, visuals, tension, fights...Everything was perfect ( just a little blame for ashoka actress who is as emotive and as wood even when she see Anakin..).
She is dead or fighting for her life right now and between life and death. That's why she met dead Anakin in this version of the world-in-between-worlds. This is also just Ahsokas force ghost meeting with Anakins force ghost. Her real body is either in the sea or a little patch of land and it is dying. How much she can do here or if there is anything of value to be gained by that meeting, remains to be seen. But I doubt that's how she will make a trip to the other universe. At least for now. If she will really travel there through the world-in-between-worlds, than she must enter it with her real physical body and not as spirit. Maybe she learns where another entrance for this purpose might be? Otherwise I bet we'll see the others finding her body and doing emergency ambulance on her. While we meet Anakin in the meantime. They bring her back to life and we'll see how to continue from there.
@@Lialexen Maybe this isn't the exact same thing, as we saw in Rebels, but just Ahsokas visualization of "heaven"/afterlife and she picked this one. I am pretty sure this is a near-dead experience, that we're seeing right now and not the "normal" world between worlds, that we've seen in the past. So maybe there isn't even a chance to travel anywhere, to use portals, etc. Or it actually is the exact same thing and force ghosts use this place to go to places and give advice, like what we saw previous force ghosts doing. Who knows how the rules for this place are? Honestzly, it's up to the writers to create some context for this. They'll do whatever they want to do with this, but I am sure it's not Ahsokas ticket to travel to the other universe or to use this world between worlds as she likes. And yes, Anakin was propably there to welcome her. He also said, that he didn't expect her to show up so early. I get this as a hint towards welcoming her to the afterlife.
Considering how long it took a lightsabre to destroy the map...I think Sabine was far more in danger of shooting her hand off if she shot it to destroy it haha.
Sabine is weak minded choosimg her desire to save Ezra like Anikin to save Padme instead of focusing on the mission.Because of her emotions and lack of focus is why its hard to train her as a jedi.
Unfortunately Baylan is correct, the balance of destruction and creation is inherent in life and well catalogued by philosophers throughout the ages. ☠
if you have to do an evil act in the name of good you corrupt that good with your evil, "the greater good" is nothing more then an excuse for evil to prevail... its used by the meek to justify their actions who would and should be on death row for their crimes in any other situation...
@@Lialexen there are people on TH-cam who can do better jobs on Anakins face. It’s not about budget, it’s just about talent. Remember what happened with Luke

The way Baylan speaks I genuinely think he is doing this for a good reason like saving the galaxy from an unknown threat and he sees Ahsoka as someone standing in the way of the “greater good”
This is not Anakin... When Ahsoka was trying to hear the Force echo in episode 2, we heard the words: Chosen One, Chosen One... We know that voice... It's the voice of Maul, but also Son of Mortis personification of the dark side from Clone Wors...
Ahsoka has died a legit 3 times (on Mortis, on Malachor, and now here), I don't think she can die anymore since Mortis unless someone gets a hold of the Mortis gods sword since the Sister transferred her life force what ever into Ahsoka.
Man, I almost threw up at the end when I watched last night, the emotions... I hope we get to see Kallus or even Rex somehow. I love how they kept the original engine sounds for the Ghost, but annoyed they changed the sound of Sabine's blasters.

@@emme maybe it is the DnD guy in me but I'm a fan of "FAFO" as the kids say!
I always had the impression it killed her to run interference and let Ezra do what he did. With all the survivor's guilt weighing on her so heavily, staying on Lothal, living in his place and sometimes listening to the audio playback after falling out with Ahsoka after the fall of Mandalore... she may want to find Ezra while also helping him make sure the Thrawn situation is handled up close and personal this time, like she would have preferred happened before.
It'll also be wild if Ahsoka can pop out of the World Between Worlds at an Ezra fast travel location.
@@robertmartin2936wow that’s a lot of survivor’s guilt, not only with Ezra but her lost family members and the rest of the Mandalorians who died, in an uprising she pushed for in the first place in rebels? And explains the falling out if Ashoka wouldn’t let her be part of the uprising or wouldn’t join the fray herself
I'm still a Mandalorian, bi%ch!"
PAUL SUN-HYUNG LEE crosses over from "Mandalorian" as he reprises CARSON TEVA!
Baylan knew Anakin but loathes his transformation into Vader. He genuinely respects Ahsoka. He is not a Thrawn fanboy. He feels morally obligated to fulfill a purpose that
serves the greater good.
Such a powerful episode
Memories?
It was the World Between Worlds.
What an emotional roller-coaster 😅
Ashoka’s stance at the map are traditional samurai stances.
Yk what I’m gonna miss next 2 weeks cos of holiday but I’m gonna find a way to watch it definitely after this 😂😂
Anakin Skywalker meeting Ahsoka again in live action is so cool.
Emme great reaction!
You hair looks amazing!
Emme this is this first time I jelly of you. So many of us have been waiting years for singing like this to happen. Gosh I love star wars
When Baylan said "It didn't have to come to this. But you know no other way" he was 100% right though. Ahsoka challenged him and ignited her saber first. And she also used the dark side while Baylan didn't
I'm so excited 😎❤
Anakin had Vader lightsaber here! And Vader theme at the end😮
No he doesn't. Stop spreading this lie.
Fantastic tight terrifying duels, there's so much danger I don't know what will happen, fantastic series
@@Lialexen Sounds reasonable. 🥂
Yes the end of the episode is that place from Rebels. Its called "The World Between Worlds."
It’s the world between worlds
No. Let Thrawn be his own villain. Not everything needs to tie back to Palpatine.
His scar is there it’s just hard to see in the shadow
The Darth Vader music at the tale end has me extremely worried. That an Hera’s son having a bad feeling. Ashoka is about to face full terror from what will likely be a very familiar Dark Lord of the Sith impersonating Annakin.
Nah he has his scar. They actually remembered all 3 facial scars
He has his Anakin saber. Yall gotta chill with these theories.
I have a feeling that force ghost Anakin is way more powerful than we have realised. Akin to that of the Old Republic force ghosts who could continually be among the living manipulating events.
The best episode
so,,this time ahsoka was pulled into the world between worlds by anakin. and next i predict ahsoka is going to enter portal leading to sabine in the new galaxy. or/and she will do something with a portal of ezras and thrawns final moment in rebels. maybe pull ezra out, and then go save sabine.
Morrok was the what, because Huyang is the (Doctor) Who :P
"Hera the idiot and Ahsoka getting her butt whopped," the episode. Hahaha!
Baylan was AT LEAST trained to a Knight level at the time Ahsoka was a Padawan. Even with all her skill, she's still not as powerful as say council level Masters(much like her master not being able to best Obi-Wan, she couldn't best Anakin).
16:03 Thats what I said, Ezra definitely wouldn't approve of Sabine's recently decisions.
I picture in my mind Anakin is still angry about her ruining his first helmet.
Technically, Obi-Wan ruined his first helmet
Thanks
Idk why but I’m 100% team Baylon😅
Because he is sympathetic, honorable and calm. Fun fact, during the duel it was Ahsoka who tapped into the dark side. Not Baylan
If you notice, Anakin has Vader's lighrsaber on his belt. Meaning this is not OUR real Anakin. Hence Vader's theme at the end of the scene.
If you notice anakin has vaders lightsaber on his belt
Sabine, you traitor!
BEST EPISODE!!
I love your outfit for today Emme.👍💖
Ending was definitely the world between worlds from rebels.
yes!!!! couldnt remember the name of the episode but thats what i was thinking!!!!
@@emme 5 years ago TWBW aired, it looks SO GOOD in live action
Indeed.😎
I can't be the only one that finds myself rooting for bailyn
their lightsabers are technically orange-red
My. Fav part of your video was pls don't get arrested (that happened not really
I love that shirt.
THIS is star wars !
THIS is good saber fight :D
I loved this episode so much... Music, visuals, tension, fights...Everything was perfect ( just a little blame for ashoka actress who is as emotive and as wood even when she see Anakin..).
So good
We DO love witchcraft!
Ahsoka is in the “world between worlds” as in Rebels. I anticipate she will use that to reach the other universe and Sabine.
In the scene where Baylon was talking to Sabine and said "its the only way" they missed an opportunity to twist it to be "This is the only way."
Emmy is looking bad as hell🙏
Considering how long it took a lightsabre to destroy the map...I think Sabine was far more in danger of shooting her hand off if she shot it to destroy it haha.
Sabine is weak minded choosimg her desire to save Ezra like Anikin to save Padme instead of focusing on the mission.Because of her emotions and lack of focus is why its hard to train her as a jedi.
I wanted to cry in the end but then the episode just stopped
omg SAME
Emme you look so pretty, i really enjoy your videos
Unfortunately Baylan is correct, the balance of destruction and creation is inherent in life and well catalogued by philosophers throughout the ages. ☠
if you have to do an evil act in the name of good you corrupt that good with your evil, "the greater good" is nothing more then an excuse for evil to prevail... its used by the meek to justify their actions who would and should be on death row for their crimes in any other situation...
19:04 She is in the world between worlds!
Hello Snips crushed me.
You look a bit like R2-D2 in that top!
an amazing episode
The de-ageing was mid but apart from that it’s a 9.5/10 episode 🔥
@@MontgomeryWenis 😭
@@Lialexen there are people on TH-cam who can do better jobs on Anakins face. It’s not about budget, it’s just about talent. Remember what happened with Luke
@@Lialexen it took the TH-camr under a week to make a deepfake on Luke’s scene 10x better. So with more people on the team + access to more footage & cgi, it shouldn’t take too long.
@@Lialexen he did it in 4 days as he had to rush for a holiday. Then came out with the perfect Luke de-ageing for Boba Fett later on. There is no excuses for them to make the same mistake twice. They should’ve known this & scheduled differently
Sabine has too much attachments
Next Tuesday night can not come any faster
The way Baylan speaks I genuinely think he is doing this for a good reason like saving the galaxy from an unknown threat and he sees Ahsoka as someone standing in the way of the “greater good”
Emme quick video drop
