That part of the frame with a down tube was definitely a weak part, I snapped mine just beneath the steering head but was able to drive at home with the engine bouncing up and down like it was on a trampoline! Some of the best times of my life were had on my 1975 Honda xr75.

Sweet and sick looking bike. Runs beautifully and sounds so crisp, like all of y'all's other 2 strokes. I showed my uncle my bike, having rode it to his house a week ago. He graduated high school in 81, so he's 10 years older than me, and remembered my bike quite well . My Uncle told me to tell you that The Wizard's Work With Carbuerators a is amazing, and how nice y'all get all of your 2 stroke bikes, running so crisp. Sadly, my Uncle couldn't ride it, because he has gained a few hundred pounds of weight, and is connected to oxygen, morning, noon, and nights....pretty much through out the day. In his time, he was a Damn Good Big Bore 2 stroke rider. Thanks for this video, brother.
Wow you guys find some amazing time capsules, didn't think you were going to stop riding it though to talk 😉 but I can't blame you ! Sometimes smaller is better ,this thing belongs to be ridden then stored in a museum between rides
Little bikes can be soo much fun, that thing revs up pretty quick I'd imagine the flywheel is lightened up as well. As for that thing's big brother, the 540, I had two 82 FT500 ascot's, the one the P.O had ice raced and that thing was a beast, the other was all original I rode for 5 years and then sold to a friend for his first bike. These older big bore Honda thumpers were great, so were the smaller one's, they just keep running.
Oh man, that bike is so freakin cool!! My first dirt bike was a 74’ XL 70. Watching your channel really makes me wish I’d have kept her. I sold it for 50 bucks 😂
11 years old. Right boot down, grab gears all the way through fourth crossed up. Fearless. Like in high school. 72 GT 750. Didn't stop for a damn. But man did it go. Invincible. 😉🤔
