The way he won the second gold olympic medal with an broken right angle is just unbelievable. It's even better than any motivation movie. He actually donates millions dollars back to his hometown and he still do until today. An amazing person and athletes. Unfortunately, his accomplishment and contribution can't be recognized enough by ISU or even his own federation and they mental abuse him for a long time by underscoring him. SAD and great lose of figure skating world.

It's look like you a little bit confused when yuzu said disaster. At 2011 there's earthquake 9.1 skala richter happenned cause tsunami in japan(happand in yuzuru prefecture hometown) , and yuzu was one of the victims, when earthquake happens he doing training in ice rink, he saw the ice break. So that's why he said even he won he still can't do anything to help his people, he want to contribute more, so he donate all his money gift champion to his hometown not just money from 2014 but 2018 too. I am sorry if you are not really understand what i said, cause english not my first language.
@@princeblworld yes he is, that's one of many reason why a lot people support him, not just because his ability/talent in figure skating but also his personal, and he always be carefull with what he says and do, we can see how he think first before speak, and always try put positive think. He also a strong fighter as we as fans know he got asthma since 2 and got a lot of injuries but he never give up for his dream. He not just amazing person but amazing human being too.
