      @Bangarang 1 not a problem to you cause it doesn't matter to you. it's been a problem, and it will continue if not checked.
      "I don’t see white people complaining because the majority of players in the NBA and NFL are black." it's cause they're not good enough...we all know that. there's no good ol boys netwoork keeping them out. if white people are good enough they'll get in...remember...it wasn't that way for non white players at the start.
      funny thing is is I don't really blame the people making the hires. I'd hire the person I'm familiar with over the person i'm not if they are similarly qualified. That's human nature. it's more about the general Idea that anyone can become apart of the higher ups.. not necessarily just blacks. the black example gets stressed because how obvious the percentage difference in coaching and players is.
      do you understand?

    • @thetrib1
      @thetrib1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Bangarang 1 "If were talking percentages then dont blacks make up 13% of the population? So percentage wise when it comes to black coaches in college it matches right up. " haha. it hurts when intelligent people feign ignorance just because they don't believe in a cause. it's ok! there being more black coaches won't negatively affect your livelihood.
      if we were talking percentages we would be talking about how it's 60% african american labor force, and less than 10% of the head coaches are black. so even for your us population number of about 13% is still more than the head coaches.
      "So what’s the problem?" for you? there isn't a problem it seems. for me? not to much either.. i prefer more black head coaches but i'm selfish..i want black every thing.. lol. For the people in waiting it matters though. the people looking to become coaches in college football is extremely difficult if you don't have a connect.
      "Also if we’re gonna go with the “because they’re not good enough” theory then perhaps the same could be said about black coaches?" oh man that hurts. it's not a theory first of all, and second of all whites have had no issue with getting into college football. they have been beatin out of the overwhelming majority by simply being less than at the sport. nothing else. For the coaches...there's no qualification based on merit that can be measured...it's simply a trust thing. you can teach 6 year olds about football, but passion... control of a situation... communication skills, etc.. can't really be judged until seen in certain situations. situations that can't be duplicated or demoed. it's why i don't blame the employers for getting "their guys" in the building...cause they're more trustworthy off the fact that they know them. that's really hard to compete against.

      it's not science...well maybe it is. but it's not difficult to understand how higher ups get jobs in sports. it's through relationships.
      those qualifications you speak of... what are they for coaches?? for players it's easy.. have eligibility, and be good enough to be on the team...then theirs tiers. stars, starters, role players, bench warmers, redshirts, etc.. everyone earns their keep on the field. and if you aren't better than another you will be replaced! that's simple. for a coach...you can't really line up and go 1 on 1 with another coach.. you need a resume, or a chance to start a respectable one.. that's where the big issue is. not enough opportunities to create a portfolio.

      White people are qualified to be better head coaches and black people are more qualified to be better athletes, OC coordinators, or DC coordinators.

    Why dont blacks do a better job of becoming coaches? Seems like that is the solution.

      You just gotta accept the fact that black coaches are mediocre most of the time once they get hired as a head coach.

    This is a huge race bait. Just be better coaching should not be around race. You can’t get a job because of race. Be better then assistants and foster relationships with players and then your time will come
