Right on, Harlan. Freud once said bowel movements satisfy the childish desire to create something. So much on line, from those who can't sell what they write, use the internet as their Charmin.
Great rant! I think Omni magazine did themselves in with the constant UFO stuff and the comix thing seem odd, they used to be a neat science based publication. Also, I had that exact same dragon t-shirt from Liquid Blue back in the 90s, I used to get a LOT of odd looks from people when I wore it anywhere.
The Skinhead's he's referring to are of course refereed to as bone heads in punk rock circles. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skinhead I mean Harlan probably doesn't give a shit about Punk so i'm not surprised he didn't know but thought I should share.
A little, handheld pod that records things and plays them back? Who would ever want one of those?
Kevin Kirby I would love to get his 🤔
Man i miss this man. But guess what? These videos will last untill the end of time.😮😮😮
RIP Harlan Ellison. You will be missed.

If Jarrick had only followed Harlan's advice, it would have been the best episode of "Sci Fi Buzz" ever.
... Nice shirt!
If George Carlin had been a Minimalist, he would have been Harlan Ellison.
Why do you drive on a parkway and park in a driveway?

What the fuck?😂
Where DID Dr. Dre get his credentials?
it's like that rant from Denis Leary against Dr. Dre in "Who's the man?" Where Dre is...well, Dre.
I read OMNI until Penthouse took it over.
It was co-founded by the publisher of Penthouse. Bob Guccione's name was at the top of the masthead of the first paper issue I ever saw.
moeskido Keyword is 'co-founded'.
So you're saying you liked it before it stopped being cool?
moeskido I liked it before the junk science.
I thought of it as entertainment, but then again I didn't see more than a handful of issues.
