- Yes! You can use Google Lens on ANY computer without installing anything! In this video, I show you how to do just that. This includes importing your own photos, scanning text, having text read aloud, and more! What's best is that you can use this on a Mac or PC flawlessly!

Yes, it's still there, just not as a button anymore. In order to get to Google Lens, just click on the camera icon in the search bar. Then you will get a pop-up window where you can drag any photo into it. Once you do this, it will load the dedicated Lens page.

Sorry but this video is not helpful, what does a person do if "Search Image with Google Lens" is not an available option to them? Where are the preliminary steps to get this feature installed?
It comes with the latest version of Chrome.
when i right click on the image i dont get the option for search image with google lens....

When I need to use Google Lens on picture in a folder on Windows 11, I'll copy the picture in the folder and then go to Facebook. I paste the pic into the Create Post box [I do NOT send]. If the picture is a small one I will then right click and Search Images with Google. If the picture is too large for the Create Post Box I click edit and this then shows me the entire picture, and then I right click and select Search Images With Google. This much faster than uploading an image into a Google Lens tab.

Pure Gold, thks a bunch. PS your 'editor of choice' say's Notepad, but nothing like most other users Notepad ?. Also, is there a way to be able to 'paste' a image into Lens, or a way to add it to other chrome based browsers as it seems the only way is to get it into lens if not using Google Chrome is first cut a picture then save to disk then open it as file for lens, just a bit of a fiasco, but hey it does work fine, but would be nice to simplify. Many thks for this vid though. Kind Rgds.

I think it is originally meant to be used for smartphones exclusively. However, since it can be accessed online, that's how I use it.

this doesn't work for me. search for images doesn't show up an option when I "right" or "control" click
Please tell me exactly where you're right clicking. You do not right click on the main search screen, you must enter a search term and press enter before being able to use right click.
Make sure you are using Chrome. It didn't show for me either at first, since I was using Edge. I then switched to Chrome and the option was right there.

The dog image was just something to get the ball rolling. You can search any image just to engage Google Lens.

When I right-click on an image In Google Photos on my desktop (Mac), the option "Search image with Google" is now no longer there - it's gone, and I can't figure out why. HELP.

Nope, does not work for me. Search Google for Google lens is not presented so I probably need a newer version. Are you using an Apple device or a PC?
I am using a Mac. It works wherever Google works. I'm even using it on my phone.

Sound and music? Google Lens is for text and photos.

What browser are you using with a macbook? Safari does not offer an option for google lens in the contextual menu when you "right click". This video was not helpful to me.

how to get voice translated from pdf in another language
PDFs are not read from Google Lens. Must be converted first to jpeg, png, or other picture form. Then just use the text/translate feature in Lens to help you out.

This is a nonsense. As of Feb 21 2023 there is no right click option to Search Image with Google Lens.
