In The Netherlands some time back they legalized almost all sex crimes and the Dutch government boasted about how sex crimes were down. In Iceland they had a big campaign to abort babies with Downs Syndrome and then boasted how they all but ended Downs Syndrome.
It's not the first time the left has used that tactic. Right after they lessened charges in Cali for theft they went on a parade about the "lower crime rates."

Try reading 18 U.S. Code § 201 - Bribery of public officials and witnesses. The law includes, "... or employee or person acting for or on behalf of the United States, or any department, agency or branch of Government thereof..." Interns are a "person" and they are acting on behalf of the office within the branch of government in which they work, meaning, if they take a bribe that's illegal. I realize that fact doesn't fit into your simplistic "hero or villain" fictional scenario.

Because of the all the stimulus checks, my income tax return this year was cut by >3/4. That means those checks weren’t stimulus money, they were merely payday loans. Which begs the question: where did all the money go?

I have to admit, normally laugh pretty hard during your spot on performances. But today, try as I might, I could not laugh at any of this. In fact I found myself a bit teary-eyed.
