I’ve only ever gone in for books and DVDs. Infinity Doctors is on the shelf, Human Nature, Lungbarrow, Interference, plus The Nth Doctor and an inevitably out of date edition of Ahistory. Crown jewel is probably The Companions from the 80s, though it always makes me wish I had The Doctors as well, which was in my school library.

My personal favourite piece of merch is something that at first doesn’t sound very special but means a lot to me. My copy of scratchman. At a time in my life where I felt nothing and like doctor who was something I was so used to it could never surprise me again. But I read the book and it was like being a kid again. I was genuinely terrified, excited and sad and it felt like my love for the show was fully restored.

Great stuff there, love the cyberman helmet. For me my most precious item will always be the traget novel of "The ark in space" it really did save my life as kid. I spent years stuck in a hospital due to my condition and nothing to do and life sucked. Getting into doctor who, that book I read over and over and made me forget that horrible experience and made me want to pursue acting due to the tv story. Today I act with a wonderful company doing shows with actors new and old. Tour soon for mojo too.
But I have a few items most fans would say are better but that book means alot to me. But as you did 7 I'll mention mine! Aha.
    2. Toby hadokes Who talk commentarys. Brillant, he gets literally everyone who was involved, as I'm interested in hearing what everyone did not just the actors, plus hes managed to get main cast stars to finally do one, omega, Deborah on web before she past, hartnells granddaughter and they even do missing stories too.
    3. The collection blurays. Everything I've always wanted from home media, the struggle of getting all the vhs and dvds and the cost. Finally these sets have everything and some much great features and archive stuff. Love the studio footage the most.
    4. Metebelis 3 crystal prop replica. Always loves this from the show and wanted one to run around with. Now I do it's a beautiful light up prop.
    5. Surviving pieces of costumes, my favourite being dalek 7s firberglass skirtpiece/ pink tardis paint, axos piece. And a Mandrel fur piece that Steve Camden kindly gave me from his restoration and surviving prop.
    6. A knitted dalek which I cheatingly won due to Graham Harper. I talked to him for hours at this small con because I was the only kid who knew what he did. He answered all my questions and we had a great laugh. So he told afterwards he called me out so I got one aha.
    7. Prototype dalek model from arc Sheffield models. Very nice little models in the early days of 2000s the best at the time and can be quite rare, my dalek was a prototype of the early 1960s daleks. My favourite design. Had fun slightly restoring it too.
    Great video once again!

I own the Regeneration Boxset and I've had it signed by every Doctor except William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee, sadly they died before I was born. Also John Hurt and Peter Capaldi as they weren't even announced when this boxset came out. But also Matt Smith, I met him and got a photo with him but his autograph line was completely booked. I plan on getting him to sign it in future though!

    I really enjoyed this video.
Finding Doctor Who merch in the wild is always fun and that is what I miss the most before the new series came back in 2005, especially in the 1990s. Back then, there weren’t so much Doctor Who merchandise available, especially here in the US. When I unexpectedly find a Doctor Who merch and buy it, it becomes something more meaningful. Nowadays, the Doctor Who marketing is over saturated, so that excitement, that adrenaline you feel when you find a Doctor Who merchandise in the most unexpected places is gone.

5:00 It's funny to me that when you describe the difficulties with wearing that coat, it kind of reminds me of Colin Baker's disappointment with his coat. Not in the sense that the coat is awful, but that it's limited in that it only works as a distinctive piece of a costume. Otherwise, there's no point in wearing it. But just like Baker, in those little clips of you showing off the coat, *_you're wearing the absolute hell out of it_* so it's fabulous! Since it costs a lot, naturally you wouldn't want to _wear it out_ but I think it suits you quite nicely if you don't mind me saying so...

OMG, I had that game! I picked it up in Charlie Carters for $10 back in the late nineties. My BFF's brother-in-law (now EX brother-in-law) was an even madder Doctor Who fan than me and I got one for each of us. I don't think you could play it on modern PC's. I'm pretty sure it was for Windows 95/97. I wonder if I've still got it packed it away somewhere.... We have a lot of DW merchandise in our house. We started collecting when DW was on VHS, so we have several limited editions box set tins, as well as just ordinary boxsets. We have a collection of replica sonic screwdrivers, figurines, a TARDIS USB hub, coasters, POP vinyls, keyrings, pins, salt & pepper shakers, cookie jars, mugs, nesting dolls, a remote controlled K-9. And where does one keep all their DVD's you ask. In the TARDIS cabinet, of course! My partner is a dab hand at woodwork and, via the help of some internet plans and his own Doctor Who Technical Manual, built it for us.

I used to have to make my own models from boxes and use any plastic figures I could find that looked even vaguely like the characters. I have a Krynoid seed pod made for me by my friend Isabella. She only made a small amount of them and I happen to know that she also gave one to Neil Gaiman.
Destiny of the Doctors is a fun game to play if you are a hardcore Doctor Who nerd (like me) but not if you are a serious gaming person. Also I found it best to rescue the Doctors in a particular order as the secondary challenges get harder later in the game, and some Doctors' challenges are easier if you do them early on. The Delgado cutscenes were great. And I do remember chasing off Autons to the sound of "Tony Blackburn... on Radio One!"

That is an amazingly detailed helmet. Your friend is very talented! I have the Five Doctors commemorative LP with the Music of Doctor Who and portraits of the Doctors on Side A. Then there was the board game, The Game of Time and Space, with billions of cardboard counters that ended up behind the cushions on the couch, under the refrigerator, eaten by the terrier, etc. Happy days!! These days, I'm collecting the Big Chief Studios 1:6 scale figures and am getting annoyed that they haven't released Patrick Troughton yet, while now having two versions of both Tom Baker and Tennant.

My favourite piece of Doctor Who merch doesn't actually belong to me - it belongs to my older brother. Years ago, DWM ran a short story competition, with the prize being a Sevans Dalek model kit. The Sevans Daleks were super accurate, foot tall Daleks, which could be made into any variation between 1963 and 1985. They even made it into the series, in a (badly done) visual effect. You just had to write an original piece of Doctor Who fiction or a certain length, with no TV characters other than the Doctor ash's companions. So, my brother wrote his story and entered it into the under 10s category. He won 2nd place, and his story, featuring the 4th Doctor, Sarah-Jane & Harry Sullivan was printed in the magazine. He won an unassembled Dalek kit, which he and my dad put together, painting it up to look like a Genesis variant. And it looks amazing. But he also won the artwork by John Ridgeway that accompanied the story, which features an amassing likeness of Tom Baker, Elisabeth Sladen and Ian Marter. We got it framed. It's fantastic.

My favorite merch has to be my TV Movie DVD, Spearhead From Space Blu-Ray, and my Cybermen collection DVD (I've watched Earthshock on it multiple times)

So I live in New Zealand and I got the Limited Edition Light at the End Vinyl Record that Big Finish released in 2013. But I got this last year, second hand (so it was cheaper than the original price) and unopened. When I saw it in this shop, I was pretty shook.

This was a really nice upload Josh, thanks for sharing these. I was thinking about doing something a little like this but I'd just talk about daleks. I love the Invasion helmet - has to be my favourite cyber helmet design. It was really nice hearing the stories behind these choices!

I do like my TARGET books collection. 99.9% complete. Think it's just #156 The Paradise of Death I'm missing. Quite a few 1st editions in my set and multiple copies with different covers. Even have a few in hardback including a signed copy of 'The Seeds of Doom' by author and producer Philip Hinchcliffe.

Ooo! 😱 I have a Destiny Of the Doctors Pc boxset as well. The game disc does work on my Windows Laptop but sadly it doesn’t play the cutscenes with the Master, but everything else works fine.

Try installing an old version of QuickTime (like version 2.0) and the cutscenes might work...

Hi there Josh, you've definitely got a great selection of merchandise and your videos are awesome! I have a couple of questions though:
    1. Where did you get the amazing 11th Doctor costume you got on?
    and
    2. Is it possible to contact your friend about making another Cyberman head like that? I've always wanted to have one as part of my helmet collection and it would go perfect with my Iron Man helmet and black series Darth Vader helmet, plus it would be an awesome prop to own!
