As much as I love Ethan's pterodactyl highs, I feel he's accomplished a better development and control of his vocals which gives them more form and sound stronger (judging from Flesh Kingdom and DOOM) Also this track had me conflicted for the first half, as in it felt like ANIT while also it didn't (which I think is a good thing) then 2:30 kicked in and immediately gave that ANIT feel from previous albums especially that catchy as fuck last section. Good work dudes!
I can agree, Ethan sounds like he’s not straining himself as much which sounds better, his highs sound more clear and his lows sound brutal. I like that the song doesn’t follow today’s typical deathcore format where they have to end it with a slow breakdown, then slow it down even more with a “BREEE!” Lol
