My hairdresser remembered me half a year later after I went there ONCE. To be fair, they spent a few hours on my hair and that's a more memorable process than selling a bottle of rum, but I was still surprised.
I can totally believe that, if the store isn't that well frequented, they remember the people who live in the area, even if they only come in from time to time.

i feel Bettel, bcoz i live in the same area for over 20 years and when i was younger i sometimes went with my dad to the liquor sop, now i go with him to buy some drinks but also i go alone and buy me some beers sometimes, so the point its the owners know me and always say hi or have a chit chat with me xD BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN I DRINK EVERY DAY
