One thing i think would be so great to have from IOD is a mould for hinges to add to frames and boxes and cabinets and drawers and all kinds of projects!
Oh my gosh…Zeb said exactly what my hubby would say…if people are stuck in their cars then it’s the perfect time to pass out info on the word of God. Tell them about Jesus. Haha. I Loved all of the projects today. My favorite stickers (may be different than what you are making) are the stickers of faces like ghosts and snowmen that I can put on my white pitchers and easily remove for next season. Or flowers that I can add to a pitcher and then remove. 😊
I bet the ink on your printed papers will hold up better than my ink jet printed paper. Jami, if you need to trim the image you are putting into a frame, the glass from the frame makes a good template. You can move it around until it’s perfect. You guys are the best!
Question...does the paper with the barn only come in a small size. Looking for something like this but in a much bigger size. Like the big papers you normally carry
Jamie, my daughter is getting married, and it will be a large wedding. I plan to thrift for many table items. It is going to be a simple elegant wedding. Thinking about centerpieces for the table. Though of little momentos to attendees to take home. Thinking of tiny frames with a picture of the couple. What have you seen people doing?
What I'm asking is...do you recommend keeping a lot of some nature as to who your "target" customers are...(not now, but when you started? ) I have just been keeping track of profit and loss...but not " who and what" sold...is that valuable information???
Do you feel you sell more thrifted items, commercial items, Antique items ( including English ( trip) items), or the " hands-on repainted, updated, transfers and moulds) items? I'm just curious. I have a booth. It seems like I can't get a good handle on " best sellers" . It varies sooo much. Seems like the sales are as diversified as the customers! It just seems like there is that one buyer for that one person! Ha Anyway...I'm moving to a new booth...same town, but a little different customer base ( more Spanish and younger 20-50) group. So any advice you can give me on how do you target you customers? ( My customers of late, have been 65-80) These people are " downsizing" they aren't interested in home decor ,antiques,vintage..they Love to come and browse, reminisce and chat" but buy? Not unless it is very " useful" and under a dollar! ( I'm at a flea market...ugh)
I loved how Jami has shown us how to turn the dollar store item into something that looks much more decorative. Will fit any cottage, farmhouse or French country look. ❤
I absolutely let my child be a child. Comments were made but I ignored them. A family tragedy occurred when said child was a young teen. Having to grow up overnight, I was so glad for my parenting choices.
I don't understand why people won't pay money for an end table that is painted and transfer applied. They pay good money for junk made overseas. Makes no sense.
We have an antique and home decor store and we sell diy supplies online and we have a physical shop. We also make TH-cam and Facebook videos. We also own our decoupage paper and stencil company. And we have a paint line. Plus Zeb likes to buy and sell real estate so we have started that a little for some long term retirement income. So yes this is our full time job but we also have lots of different things we do with it.
san diego solved the over crowding of some schools by going multi track. each track had 200 kids in it. so with 2 tracks you can get 400 kids in a school built for 200 because a track was always out. as if that was not crazy enough, turn the cafetorium and library into classrooms and add a few bungalows on the playground. with at method you can accomodate 200 more kids with 3 tracks.
JAMI, I still listen to the 80's music and I'm 61 yrs old! And I will til the good Lord calls me home :)
Nice upcycles!
Lovin the sunflower tote. I agree, the one side was enough.
This is like your own Santa’s workshop 🧑🎄
Love the sunflowers
Merry Christmas!
Your projects turned out lovely! You two are master crafters! ♥️

I use mop strands for horse tails and manes. One mop head goes a long long way. Many horses.
The name Aunt B is sweet and endearing. Sharon in Texas
You should make some cute cans just for the transfer kits. That’s what I do with mine. I bet you could sell quite a few.

Im thinking maybe a part of a mop head from dollar tree for the tail on the horse? Possibly bring it the next level? And longer!!!
You make it look easy
I spray the tins with transfers with oil based polyurethane, they can hang outside that way!

Cant wait to see what zeb does with the horse
Would like to know about getting bigger decoupage paper for bigger frames or furniture when doing bigger projects?

Use the glass to measure your picture and you can see where the cuts will be.
Those “buckets “ with the jute are $1.25 from Dollar Tree.
Zeb, are you putting a finial on top of the wood dowel?

I would love mule stickers. Not donkey, mule please.😊

Is this your main income
They have multiple streams of income,TH-cam is one of those streams.
