- Some pro tips on how to succeed, survive, and win at a TCG tournament! Mainly Yugioh, but this also applies to Magic, Pokemon, Lorcana, and whatever else the kids are playing these days. There's a lot more to winning than simply knowing how to play your cards--if you aren't prepared for a long day, then your performance will suffer.

I make videos about Nintendo stuff, comedy stuff, gay stuff, and apparently card games too.
This guy never gives obvious advice or has an obvious perspective. Top tier content creator.
and goes straight to the point (oh wait)

Ah yes the famous Pokémon "Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring".
"Shoulders hunched, back straight, neck straight, only time I'm straight... Whose this? Never met her"
DEAD !!😂 Thanks, I've spewed my drink EVERYWHERE 😂😂😂
If it makes you feel any better, I also spilled my drink. Always keep a towel handy!
You’re quickly becoming my favorite TCG content creator, you’re covering topics that are equally important as they are scarcely seen. Great job man :)
I like your funny words, magic man!
Seriously Mark, I've just discovered your channel in past few weeks and have subscribed! I really vibe with your humor, and the calm knowledgeable authority you bring to these vids. Please keep up the awesome work.
I think this is the first time someone has ever used the word "authority" to describe me! I wish more children and dogs would share your opinion!
This was really well done. You deserve more views.
Also, you very funny, yet informative. We need more content like this.
Loved the last airbender platypus bear quote lol😂
Bro is funny and teaches actually great advices? Damn you don't miss
Keep up the good work king!
Great content! It’s really refreshing to hear you go in depth about the importance of keeping healthy habits at tournaments. We don’t see that often!
Ive watch some of your videos before. All great content but your humour really glows in this video! Subscribing and staying around for more!
Keep making videos please I love them :D
wow this was really insightful

Tbf these are some good advices! Thank you for this!
I appreciate the Yusei reference.
these are some grate tips! glad this was on my racommended
No, THIS is a grate tip: If you soften the cheese by warming it first, it'll be much easier to grate. If you're cooking, even holding it over a pot of boiling water for a few seconds will be enough to soften it.
I never get good sleep before tournaments, I my ADHD brain gets so stressed out thinking about it.
As someone who struggles often with insomnia, the only sure solution I've found is to bring my laptop to bed working on something important, with an imminent deadline. Then I tell myself I'm just going to rest my eyes for ONE minute before I sit back up..........
@@MarkThePage I usually try to watch long TH-cam videos to take my mind off of things and that does helps me.
Fun? Huh?! Gimme 'em Bran Flakes
Hello, I've been trying to make synchron a viable strategy for... years now. I ended up giving up on the deck and have had success with other strategies. Uhh, my friend didn't give up. He absolutely refuses to use other decks and he doesn't change his list all that often. My point with this comment is a question: have you ever considered making a video on synchrons? I'm sure my friend and myself would appreciate your input. Hopefully you read this?
You two certainly know more about synchrons than I do! I've tried and failed to learn synchro decks several times. I can say that, if swapping a few cards doesn't improve your combo deck, then you need to swap entire engines in/out--not just individual cards. Test how whole bunches of new cards interact. Sometimes Random Jank Card #1 fails only because you weren't also using RJC #2 in the same build.

MBT: expect the round to go to time so make sure to exploit that. Never play a control deck.

The bigger the tournament, the more mysteriously likely that all my matches go into overtime if I go second...
HEY MARK
HI BRANDON. I'm amazed that anyone from before this year is still subscribed since my channel is even more niche and random than it used to be.

I love this shady queer yugioh content, more please!
It's not as gay now that Yugi and Jaden aren't on TV anymore...
nice to see all the masks in the video clips!
The clips are from 2022--I haven't vlogged any tournaments since then. These days I'm usually the only one still masking up, but hey, it's free and I save on makeup.

Seriously!? I tried to pick clips where other people wouldn't be identifiable. Yet one of my friends spotted himself in a distant crowd from just a few friggin pixels!
