The "extra drumming" is Vlad's frequent use of ghost notes in nearly everything he plays. This song has some of Jinjer's best riffs and is a good tune, but for me it doesn't all quite get distilled and come together as well as some of their other songs. It's a fever dream of close ups 😅 and Jinjer clearly paid homage to them here. Pantera are actually a massive, v popular and v important metal band of the 90s. Influenced a lot of modern 'groove' metal bands. Guitarist Dimebag, brother to the drummer, was tragically murdered live on stage 20 odd yrs ago.
