    I had the exact same issue. I just used a heat gun and applied pressure to the front area (same area that you pointed out in this video). I was careful when applying the heat to not melt but just make the plastic "moldable" again. I let it cool and tried it out. So far so good. Let's see if it maintains the new shape.

    We have the same issue. We are receiving our 4th replacement jug today. Last time the tech was here, he called Samsung while here and I couldn't believe how rude the Samsung guy was to him on the phone. He literally told the tech to tell me to pour slower and that I must be tipping it too much. We bought a 5 year warranty, so our goal now is to order as many of these pitchers as possible over the next 5 years until they smarten up and fix the problem instead of assuming it will just go away.

    I had the same issue and found a very easy fix!
    1) Remove the top from the picture.
    2) Carefully remove the existing gasket located around the perimeter of the top
    3) Place a rubber band around the recess where the gasket was just removed.
    4) Replace the original gasket over the rubber band.
    5) Replace top.
    This pushes the gasket out a little which creates a watertight seal. Problem solved!

    Same Problem. We’ve gone through 2 replacement Auto Fill Pictures. The same Drip problem occurs on replacement parts. So, I added/ built up (using adhesive tape) a gasket onto the Picture vessel into the area just under the lid pour spout where the drip emits. After a couple attempts, I succeeded in creating a dripless seal.

    I can confirm that the pitcher has been redesigned. The lid slides all the way into the pitcher. The spout is now part of the pitcher rather the lid. So the only drip you'll get will be off the spout.

  • @RidgeRunner4X4
    @RidgeRunner4X4 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    After 3 replacement pitchers, I rednecked a repair. I added a food O-Ring on top of the seal, and that stopped the leaking. It takes some finesse to get it in there straight, but it is doable.

      Suggest not sealing it so that it prohibits cleaning it. Bacteria can still get inside such as Serratia marcescens which is an airborne bacterium or mold. Mine was more contaminated than I expected and I only use it for water (don’t use the infuser).

    OK, what i did.... I removed the lid and then removed the seal. I put a good ol rubber band where the seal was, put the seal back on and it works perfectly. Simple, cheap and not tools required. Have no idea why they leak, I tend to agree it's the temp differential. BUt, hey, it's fixed.

    I got this fridge about a week ago. The pitcher leaks on mine too. I figured it out though. For some reason the pressure pushes water through the crack. There’s this little piece that hangs down on the inside by the spout. I’ll pour for a second or two, then hold it upright, then pour again. No leaking.
