South African zulus and Zimbabwean ndebeles are like distance cousins,their languages are almost the same,historically the ndebeles where part of the zulus till the 17th century when mzilikazi was chased away from zululand by king Shaka he ran away towards the north across the limpopo river, some of the ndebeles can be found in the east of Pretoria,limpopo in places such as mokopane,liphalale and polokwane but their ndebele language has evolved because of the majority sepedi speakers who surrounds them
