My husband and I mainly camp at State Parks with four other couples. I love unplugging and enjoying great company. A cool drink in one hand and bug spray in the other. Happy Glamping!

Beautiful location! We fish and hike on our camping excursions. We want to start renting kayaks when we go out - we’re a little perturbed by the inflatables 😂 Great review, guys!

This is a great state park and one that we have added to our list (most state parks don't have full hookups). The BEST camping experience we had with our rig was at Alexander Springs SP in FL (WAY out in the boonies). NO hookups but access to water spigots (we filled our fresh tank before setting up). Then again, we have a 400 AH Lithium battery, solar and a 2,000 watt inverter. Our rig is made for boondocking and our battery only discharged down to 80% after 3 days (even though our solar panel received little sun due to trees). Usually when we boondock in full/mostly full sunlight, our battery recharges to 100% during the day from the solar.

Haven't done any boon docking yet. It sounds like you better be prepared. Who knows, we might give it a shot 😁.

@@southernethoslife It is not for everybody but we enjoy various ways to camp. Then again, our rig is prepared for boondocking. During our cross country trip, we will be boondocking very often.

Come through with the tape measure!!! Some of those sites were really pretty from a nature perspective. The water looked beautiful! Jeff wants to kayak…I am not a good swimmer so…. But dip your toe on into crushed concrete…it’s not all bad!❤ can’t wait to meet you guys in person. -Katina

Hey LBC!!! Hope y'all are doing well. Oh yeah, got to be sure we have no issues getting Trina Mae in and out of the campground. It does have beautiful views and we will probably give it a shot soon. Thanks for the comment and hope you all have a outstanding week. Safe travels, #Crushed ConcreteCampers :)

Wow! Thanks for reviewing this park. I often find myself in the Atlanta area because I have to visit family and we have been looking for a suitable location with full hook ups. We looked at the RV Park at he Navy recreation site at Allatoona near there and it left a bit to be desired and then we looked at the Air Force base, but this seems like something worth looking into. Bout that concrete life tho!!🤣

Mike B!!! Good to see you in the comments, my man. Glad the video could provide you with a potential option to stay near family. We appreciate your continued support and comments. Have a great rest week and stay safe. #ConcreteCampers #ConcreteGlampers :)

We live in Alabama but LOVE Georgia SP’s, way better than the SP’s here in our own state unfortunately. We’ve never been to Red Top, definitely will put this on the list.

We were driving on I-95 North and I may have missed it but between Florida and South Carolina there was only one Rest Area and that was at the Georgia Welcome Center. If such is true someone needs to speak to the Governor.
