Bunch of oldster QBs who instantly become interception machines after even a single hard knock (Harris, Collaros, BLM, MBT, etc etc). But conversely, I also have very high hopes for the new breed. Tre Ford? Dru Brown? Maybe Alexander? 2024 was by far the most interesting season with great league parity, and it only promises to get better. [referee quality/manipulation* and 'marketing $$$$$' notwithstanding] *The ruling on the field was no fumble, but after review, there was a fumble, but the recovering team took several nanoseconds too long to secure the loose ball; so we hand the ball back to the offense... OK. Refs just inventing new rules on the spot. Follow the money.
Here's a thought. The starting-and-winning QBs from the past two Grey Cups are not considered starters by many. I'm not sure I disagree; but, it makes you think, right?
When you're able to get coaching and management that structures the team and playbook around the QB, it no longer becomes as pertinent to have a star behind centre. He just needs to listen to his coaches
I agree Farhan on Cody F. The Als are best served to start David. On Tre, I don’t believe he has arm strength to be a starter in the CFL. Great at scrambling but doing that every other down. Won’t lead to success. Good signing for stamps with Vernon. The league is in really good shape at the QB position.
@@cflisthebest If VA doesn't have the strongest o-line in the league, he will start to squirm and eventually throw tantrums that end in pick-6's. He doesn't have the maturity to deal well with adversity/complexity. Hence the 'Big Play' nickname that he has given himself. He floats deep balls and depends on DPI calls. Maybe that's a legit strategy, but it's not one I enjoy watching. Too NFL for my tastes.
I think it's marvellously comical, the idea that Fajardo can compete with Tre Ford for a roster spot. Let's please be honest. One is on a definite upwards slope, the other... not so much. When Als win, CF's post-game is all about 'Huge love for everyone who believes in ME", but when he fails it's all-a-sudden like "Yeah, team losses suck." Alouettes replaced VA's swinging-ma-helmet-at-yo-face infantility with CF's denialism infantility. Way to build a team. And to be fair, VA should have absolutely received a permanent league ban for that. Contrast with Shawn Lemon, who is gone-daddy-gone for a canadian-tire-money wager. It's almost like Gary Bettman is the CFL's interim commish.
The Lions got a bag of pucks for a starting QB (and some said a 2024 MOP candidate before he got hurt) for VA. No starter coming back - nothing. And to top it off they traded VA within the West, so it can come back to haunt them time after time. Sounds like a Rookie GM for sure. The ALs were ruthless with Cody. I wonder if Tre Ford can go to the Lions as a back-up for the Canadian ratio. The Canucks really need Demko back as Silovs seems to have forgotten how to play Goal in the NHL. Ouch!
What year are you even referring to? RB's have so moved beyond that. Onward and upward! Brown and Crum both hold infinitely greater promise. Considering Masoli's so-so mentoring skills, I'd be utterly amazed if he was still a RB in '25 - he's not even a ho-hum sideline cheerleader. Doesn't even wield that clipboard with any air of authority.
The league being QB rich is a definitely a good thing.

Love the guy but $600,000 for Rourke is absurd
What has he done to deserve 600 thousand when he hasn't even played a full season.

Adams Jr. also has in the past and occasionally recently had issues. he had games in 2024 where he stunk out.
Who is 'David'??

QBs don't count for the ratio
nobody talks about the Redblacks? Seriously, they can't have Masoli as a starter. Are they not shopping?
That's why they went and got Brown last off-season

Cody...??!!
as a guy? lol
what does Farhan know? he's never played in the CFL.
By your own standard, you should never be allowed to vote. Or if you're being sarcastic, pls let us know.🙃
