Hello The Kits Cats! You probably noticed that we like our cats too. :-) Last year was the first time that I had hiked the Tricouni area. WOW! I'm still learning how to use a camera properly so I wasn't able to catch just how spectacular those alpine flowers were. So much more to see there. You have me curious with the camp spots and rambles, so I'll look into that more. Just a few hours on a mountain feels like several days of vacation! @@planetyaz There's great camping around the 1st and 2nd lakes of the 3 lakes leading up to the north east toward the main Tricouni peak (which is a bit of a steep scramble) and some nice rambling to the north of the bottom lake that takes you to some more lakes and some easy terrain that allows for some fun route finding over varied terrain to the northeast and the lesser Tricouni peak.
