I am a proud owner of Chetak... it's been almost 1.5yrs... I bought it when it was initially rolled out..... my scooter has ran 11000 kilometers..... until 60 it picks up really fast and for city commute I don't usually touch 60.... it consistently gives me 100kms per charge even now...... no degradation whatsoever......
built quality is sooper...... no noise no heating problem..... it's soo very smooth..... it's got centre stand.... it's got ladies footrest...... it's more of a practical scooter..... even after 1.5 year no vibration and as good as new....I am happy and I think it's worth for money...
regarding inaccurate range.... it's predictive range.... if you zoom and not allow it to regen then the range decreases... it shows the range based on how you are currently riding the vehicle.... if you allow it to regen and go smoothly then the range automatically increases.... it depends on how much power ur currently using... hope this clarifies.....

Chetak!! Its really an amazing E scooter, its built & road presence is mind-blowing. But the fact that its not as practical as an Ola or Ather. No one can match its comfort tho.....
Rightly said. The build quality is top notch. The only cons are the price and the boot space. If Rajiv Bajaj can reduce the price and make it affordable to everyone, it would be another "Hamara electric Kal".

What was the major problem with chetak ?
One thing I liked in Chetak is that when the battery is less than 10% it gradually slows down which gives the rider good chance to stop at a safe location. Most of the electric scooters do not have this features

Using it for 3 months and already saved 6000rs .. very low maintenance...it's a family bike not a performance vech..rage depends on how we ride zip range drops and sloe and steady it increases..my brother has ather 450x... I said to him"range increases on how we ride ," he said "ather decreases how we ride".... We have to ride for few days to get used to the power....
Bro its not hub motor its a bolt on wheel bldc motor design by Bosch. Thats y it has a Bulge on rear wheel where motor is situated.🙂
I think only Bajaj can replicate the Activa success with Chetak. It does need some tweaks and KEYS are a must. No gibberjabber but Desi public need RELIABILITY. Let the past glory of Chetak come back.
We can't compare it with ather ..it's a rocket.. but makes lot of sound.. chetak is very silent... thanks for ur review Boss..
I ride always in power mode it gives 65 to 75..km..i zip around 45 to 60km per hour...have to climb few flyover s... daily average I ride around 50 and above.....
It's saving me a lot of fuel money till now ...not even two months it's 2000km for today......tey should reduce weight little cause it would be difficult for few ladies.. cause once it's fell in parking it was quite difficult for me to lift it back..but super build very sturdy.. brakes very sharp...boot space small.....it charges quick in emergency for 90min it can go real distance....

I have a chetak and i am using it for the last 18 months. It's fantastic scooter. I own the ola S1 pro also and happy with both of them. And I get a max range if 120 kms on chetak and 155 kms on ola S1 pro
It's time you bought a simple one too! Then you will have experienced the three most powerful ones.
Can you visit simple energy? I'm a bit worried as some claimed that there is no office in the mentioned (online site) location.

Two big grudges 1. Too expensive. Without touchscreen, should be max 90 K . 2. Still not available in many big cities like mine. (We areva mini metro of 50 lakh people)

Range has been super good on this EV. I drove about 4km even though the battery percentage was only 1%. This is built for everyone.

Bajaj Chetak is having shortage of IndiGo metallic colour only in Goa,
Out of all the excitement after watching your videos i finally made my mind to book a Bajaj chetak Premium Indigo metallic colour,
Booked my Bajaj on 26th February 2022
And today is 7th May 2022 and yet no signs of my vehicle arrival, they say wait for 3 - 3.5 months after booking the vehicle ! Okay ready to wait ! But let me bring out to the notice of audience that if you book your vehicle of IndiGo metallic colour don't expect the delivery in 2022 because for the last 2 months i have been observing the stocks sent to our nearest and only one dealership,
And funny part is that first lot consisting of 20 vehicles and second lot of 20 vehicles after every 30 Days
1) lot arrived in March out of 20 only 1 of which was Indigo metallic , 3-4 hazelnut, 6-7 Red and rest all black😂
After next 30 days
2) second lot arrived in April out of 20 only 2 Indigo metallic, 15 Black, 3 hazelnut .
So at this point I have two options either i wait for the IndiGo metallic to arrive or modify my booking by opting to black.😂
Now at this point of time i have a lot of patience and still will wait for blue one to arrive and according to sources i heard that there is shortage of IndiGo metallic colour.
Bajaj chetak has no doubt a lot of market and they are into the two wheelers manufacturing industry from a long time, are well known and very much reputed company. The reason I felt like opting for Bajaj Chetak EV was the same old trust. That the company is reputed, has developed a very beautiful scooter.
But unfortunately I am very much worried about the way Bajaj chetak manufacturing team is sending irrelevant orders🤣
I had also influenced alot of my colleagues and family members to opt for Bajaj Chetak EV , but now i dont know what is the probability of me getting my vehicle delivered in 2022
As in a single lot hardly 1 or 2 Indigo metallic arrive to our dealership and before my booking 50 people are waiting for the same colour itseems.
Bro i would like to invite you for my legendary Bajaj chetak delivery after all the hardships i have faced and for all the hardships i will face in future. Had kept cash ready for the vehicle from the day i booked my vehicle but Bajaj Chetak manufacturing team seems very careless about sending orders as per bookings🤣

Which drivetrain is better belt driven motor or hub driven motor ??
Hub motors are more efficient 🙌
Hub is better , belt drive may get damaged and need to be fixed so more maintenance
Hub is less powerful than belt because it's not possible to fit large motor in hub, so slower bikes have hub, while fast bikes like Ather, Ola and Simple have belt/chain. A hub is quieter as there is no drive noise. The hub may be a little less reliable as the motor takes all the impact of road bumps and it has to stay sealed or water will damage the motor. A belt has the motor cushioned by suspension and the water seals are smaller, but belt /chain needs to be maintained and replaced. No one is better, just different

There is no re gen in Ather...so it won't effect u r scooter..
@@raghuon3241 so if i use it daily it will absolutely not effective my battery life cycle and other things na because there is no re-gen , i am using that reverse throttle technique most of the time for slowing speed so that i don't need to use breaks 😅, i don't care about the regeneration of the battery percentage so i think i am doing correct thing for slowing down the speed of my scooter......
