Glad you had a great year Ben enjoyed watching your journeys and success. Been a tough year getting around hunt much.getting the new knee February 1st. So next year will make up for it.god willing and creeks don't rise!
I look forward to deer season every year there is something about waking up at 5 AM and the nice cold temperatures. being in the stand before sunrise I can't express how it makes me feel. love the videos 😀
Hello from Allegan County. I love watching your videos. You enjoy the time with family and friends in the great outdoors and harvest some delicious venison for the freezer. That's what it's all about! Congrats on a successful season!
You should get one Matt. Very effective and low recoil. 👌 Happy New Year Bud and thanks for watching! I shot another big doe last night so another video coming 😆
Very nice hunt I love watching people track a deer with a blood trail in the woods I love it I never did did it get a deer this year my health just did not let me do it maybe next year
@@campbenny threading the needle! That’s behind your house? Terrain looks familiar. Didn’t realize you guys had gotten that much snow. I had about 18” that storm. Tough walking to the stands, was knee deep here.
@stevedenoyer5956 behind the house. I was wearing an 18" lacrosse boot, and I'd say the snow was close to 4 " above that after the blizzard. It definitely makes for a good work out. 👍🏻
Which hunt ? On the snowy hunt I hit a limb with the first shot and it deflected enough that I cleanly missed. I didn't notice any limbs being hit with the other shot. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year Dan !
EXCUSE ME SIR, CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR DOE HUNTS WITH A 350 LEGEND, HOWEVER SIR YOU TAGGED THAT LAST DOE IN THE EAR , THATS NOT WHERE TO TAG DEER IN MI. ACCORDING TO THE HUNTING GUIDE. LOWER JAW , GAMBREL OF LEG , ANTLER IS THE 3 ONLY PLACES. AGAIN CONGRATULATIONS!
Beautiful conditions and congrats. I will surely be the dissenting opinion but a .260 Rem or 7mm-08 will pile the deer up at the edge of a giant pink cone of blood spray with very little recoil. I am not at all impressed with seeing what the 350 legend did to the deer. Not a hater by any stretch but I'm not seeing it. Maybe seeing liquefied internals would change my opinion. As long as you're happy with it that's what counts. Dave
Thanks Dave. I love comments like yours where an opinion is expressed with some respect for another hunter. Thank you for that. I own many calibers and have not a bad thing to say about .260 Rem or 7mm-08. I've harvested with both and they performed nicely. I am enjoying the 350 but I choose my flavor when I decide which stand I'm going to hunt. It could be a 20 gauge, muzzleloader, 300 win mag, 450 BM, 350 Legend, 30-30, .260 Rem, etc...(I've used them all).......it's whatever I am feeling like at the moment. They all do the job as long as I do my part. Thanks again for your comment and watching ! Good luck next season !!
@@campbenny I suppose I glossed over the notion that some states require straight walled cartridges. Pretty sure Michigan isn't one of them tho. I get the multiple calibers available, I'm the same way. I think partly the hype surrounding this cartridge had me a little salty. I didn't want my comment to be disrespectful and I'm glad it wasn't taken that way. Dave
Thanks Dave. In Michigan we have a limited firearm zone that require straight wall cartridges within a given spec. The zone I believe is the bottom 1/2 ish of our state and that's where many of my hunts are based out of. Sounds like the next new flavor for a cartridge will be the Remington 360 Buckhammer. Take care, buddy !
@@campbenny you dropped the first doe in her tracks! What more performance is there? I’ve shot deer with nearly every caliber you can buy I’m 64 yrs old. Some drop fast some don’t. Hard to explain. But a hit in the vitals everything from a .222 Remington to a .300 win mag has worked
Please Subscribe, Comment and Like ! 👍🏻 Happy New Year !!

That 350 legend looks like it’s a animal of a gun. Might have to get me one. Lol. Happy holidays Benny. Love the videos.

Thanks for watching Chris! Sorry to learn about your health situation. Will be sure to include you in our prayers.
Just stoned her! Way to get on her quick. Congrats from Grand Traverse County!
Thanks brother ! On the 2nd hunt, that little branch on the first shot sure did move that 180 grain off point.

After watching several of your videos, I noticed that you shoot both the 350 Legend and the 450 Bushmaster. Which one is your favorite?
Thanks for watching Owen ! They are both very effective. I like them both but I'd probably choose my 450BM if I had to pick a favorite.
What's your opinion on this cartidge?
100 yds or less
Woukd you take a .44RemMag, a .350Legend or a .243Win?
Thanks for watching! I think the 350 legend is a great cartridge choice for 100 yards less. 243 would be next, then 44RemMag..
Nice hunt . The .350 Legend really whacks them. How many cartridges can the mag hold ? Good stuff guys !
Thanks for watching !👍🏻 The standard mag holds 5. An AR style mag will fit so it'd be pretty easy to use higher capacity mags for 10, 20, 30, etc..
@@campbenny I was wondering what grain of bullet you prefer to use on deer when using the .350 Legend ?
@@ianmccutcheon6319 my preference has been using 180 grain Winchester power points.
Was that a limb that you hit when you shot that doe, if so you got lucky and congrats on getting the deer

The first doe in this video looks like it hit that sapling before it hit her
At the 2:15 mark
What 350 legend ammo do you use
Winchester 180 gr PowerPoint. Thanks for watching and good luck this season 👍🏻
