With everything that's going on in the industry right now, I salute you folks for your endeavors. I'm in my 60's and am looking forward to taking a step back with your game....kudos!!
Suggestion for the Oblivion gates. What about adding a hill in the middle of the area. The gates will spawn on it. And the surrounding trees will be "burned" or leveled after the gates open. It will still be "the tree" area, but the trees will be burned to the same level in a circle around the hill as if there was a huge magic/fire explosion. Something like adding burned tree models within slightly larger tree stumps. Or burned tree stumps and fallen trees if you have the models.
@@RebelzizeXtra you know, for the longest time, i thought you were just a speaker for Skyblivion, i didn't think you actually worked on the mod, but i'm glad to see videos like this. i might have fallen asleep while watching it, but don't be offended by that, i'm always looking for soothing videos to fall asleep to lol, but it was also nice getting an update to the landmass that you were working on. i have to ask, how does the game look almost as good in the creation kit as it does in game? i have worked with the kit in the past and the lighting and objects always looked awful, is that some kind of plugin or is it just the colors used in the mod?
wouldn't be surprised if Bethesda capitalizes on the efforts of this whole modding project. I am still guessing they will just release a more or less "4k kinda remaster port" to consoles only. put it together with the creation kit of Skyrim AE, then looking to get this project to allow a total conversion once you have both the Skyrim AE and Oblivion on your ps5s or xbox series. Of course, for the humble sum of 60 bucks.
@@svenkutzner9649 Rumor has it will run two engines on top of eachother. The base oblivion one and unreal on top of that. A bit like with Diablo 2 or Halo 2: Anniversary. Time will tell how it will look I guess. I do suspect though that the official remaster/remake vill be more close in how it plays and feel due to it being the exact same game underneath. I am however looking forward to both projects. I think this is the one that has the most potential to be how I envision a remake of Oblivion in a sence.
Sorry for all the interuptions and then my internet cutting out by the end.. Was real grumpy by the end of the stream :p The last hour was streamed only on Twitch because I couldnt reconnect to TH-cam for some reason: www.twitch.tv/rebelzize
Wish u guys would look more at kingdom come deliverance as inspiration for forests. There is not alot of clearance or forest lines here but random trees here and there
I got a ‘Bee Crossing’ sign for Christmas. We have a bird bath set up for our bees to drink from and I wanted to get a bee crossing sign to hang on the back fence between our hives and the bird bath.
What I remember about hitting 30 is that, suddenly, everything in my body forgot how to function normally. My diet had to change, because my gut magically forgot how to digest almost everything I had eaten my whole life. I started waking up with inexplicable aches and pains. Every little nuisance began bringing out my "grumpy old man" act a few decades too early. Etc. 😑 So yeah, I feel you, Kyle, and my heart goes out to you.
There shouldn't be so much of a competition against each other but unifying interest toward Oblivion/TES again in general , if both projects are good who is going to complain?
Alot of people I've talked to about it say they're worried about the lack of paid coordination, and playtesters. Will skyblivion be open to playtesting soon?
You guys will blow Bethesda's "remake/ remaster" out of the water, if history proves correct. They will spend minimal effort and recycle all repetitive dungeons. I know i will be eagerly awaiting yours. Not theirs
The weather on the stream is extremely sunny. Like, the brightest one they have. Look at the last stream from the 18th of December. There are many weather types fitting vanilla Oblivion vibes. IMO, obviously.
Bethesda haven't announced anything. And they have also been very encouraging of and positive toward the Skyblivion team. So, I'm not worried. Now none of that means they won't Cease and Desist it right at the last minute, but I'm gonna choose to be positive.
@ Ou silly…… How many times does it need to teach you that lesson…….. Until someone is not willing to pay for it, we ain’t going to see shit of skyblivion
you just had to be that guy huh. always gotta be some pessimistic mf trashing on people just trying to make something (and doing a damn good job at it)
You mean cartoony? Also, no it doesn't. It's just brighter than Skyrim, because Cyrodiil is brighter than Skyrim. Oblivion had the same general color palette.
It was the kinda same in the original 2006 game. The people who work on the project want to be as close to the original as possible. So ye, it makes sense for it to be similar in tone to the game it was based on.

Yes! I love the idea of having the forest WAY more dense, and having variation in topography height ! You guys rock!!

Wow this looks just glorious. Thank you so much Rebel and thank you to the rest of the team as well
You guys rock !
If this turns out better than Bethesda's remake... I will not be shocked. Looks great, keep it up.
It will be 100%

They will get a cease and desist letter from Bethesda any day now.
@ No they won’t
Looks great! Especially the area with the scenic pond :)
Wow! This endevor is amazing! Keep up the great work!
Dude this game will go down in the history books of the future, this is epic yall. We are living in epic moments!

i didn't notice since this was a kind of ASMR for me and i fell asleep long before the end lol.
we should call it "Skyblivion ASMR"
AMAZING work, I can't wait to play this and see all your hard work pay off

I'm going through that now lol. Had to give up soda because it just started making me sick.
Carnivore diet and semen retention is the way to go. Also look into doing a 5-7 day dry fast.
Amazing
this project may have me buying a PC again shidddd
This game is going to be actually fun again.
the end was brutal
Awesome!!!!

Also...can you turn some of the trees to different angles if you use the same model. Thanks.
Looking great. Hope you guys do better job than Bethesda.
Wow...
Witcher 3 is my favorite game of all time
I do have a question:
Is skyblivion same as oblivion remastered that Bethesda announced? It’s becoming confusing
there has been no official bethesda announcement so really no one knows..
I can't wait for this game best game of my life I think i just hope Bethesda dont ruin this
Alot of people I've talked to about it say they're worried about the lack of paid coordination, and playtesters. Will skyblivion be open to playtesting soon?
Why would they do that when it's almost done?
@rebeccaadams2509 stupidest question ive ever heard
👋

I dunno , but oblivion is more green. Skyblivion looks more bright.

@@ngolanov oke.
I disagree honestly. I think the colour palette is just right.

After Bethesda announced the remake of oblivion I highly doubt now that we will never ever see skyblivion released

It looks cartoonist af. Looks like somewhere you could find Pokemon roaming. Looks depressing, primitive, and outdated.
