this is so true!! my friend started editing on tiktok and she blew up. the day after, her comment section was filled with people saying “well actually, i think u need to improve more. ur content kinda sucks 🤓👆”. i don’t understand why people cannot be kind and courteous. basic human respect has gone down the drain 😭

I used to be apart of the editing but I quit since it’s kinda hard to make edits and it take really long. It’s also hard to grow a TH-cam channel by doing roblox edits. But every time I see small roblox editors I always try to leave a nice positive comment!

in my opinion i think two of the main problems are motvation and the roblox community getting more toxic! motivation was the reason i quit, it takes so much effort to make one edit and if you see yourself doing worse than you used to be you start losing motivation.. and the community is also constantly hating now because its much more toxic too. I honestly agree with what you said in the video!

As a roblox capcut editor myself I completely agree with your opinion and the fact some people just a leave comment on a video saying smth like "oh should have added shakes it would have looked way better 👆🤓" and don't even say anything good/kind feedback at the end like what the flip 😭

as a person whos been in the editing community (i still do make edits just not roblox but i used to be a roblox editor) for almost 4 years and still am, i TOTALLY AGREE, plus even if a person did use a capcut template and got MILLIONS of views it is absolutely NOT their fault, it’s the algorithm’s fault, and the main reason why the roblox editing community is definitely because of people making fun of new people who just started editing, which makes a lot of them quit and therefore, barely any new roblox editors join.
And theres many awesome underrated creators

Hey Toast, I haven’t commented in a while but I’m back and I can very much agree that the editing community is kinda dead and that 2020-2021 was the peak and it was because everyone was at home and doing school online, and another reason the editing community died is because some editors work so hard on their edits only to get little to no views and likes after a few hours from posting and as someone who’s been editing for nearly 3 years, I can understand why this is annoying but I do edits for fun

As someone who’s been in the editing community for years I feel like the editing community as a whole is dying in my opinion and I agree with you when you said in the past couple of months has been going downhill because of copying

I left editing for making Royale High content. I remember wanting to do both but I realized i got no motivation editing and lost a bunch of subscribers. I still support Roblox editors!
I have been editing for almost a year now and the only reason I have kept going is I enjoy it but some ppl r js rude and disrespectful

Honestly i use a really like outdated and old editing Software and its fun doing hard work i know i put in actual work then when i Post it even if it has negative comments
Besides that the community is dying because of people who are spoiled that leave nasty comments because they think they can do better

I think that the Roblox editing community is drying mostly because most of them aren’t actual editors; They use templates, gain tons of views & likes which demotivates ACTUAL editors, causing them to quit. The use of templates has been a major issue among editors.
Additionally, there’s a huge lack of variety and creative ideas for Roblox edits, and a large amount of “editors” stealing actual edits.

Also, a very large majority of template “editors”, especially from other fandoms are very toxic towards actual editors too.
I think the way people make their edits isn't really relevant. Making templates provides financial compensation for a variety of editors, but I also understand the frustration where users take credit for templates they didn't make.
Honestly what I do if I think something could use improvement (or their a beginner), I say like “woah this is actually really cool! (Saying something about the video in particular) I do suggest you (do something to improve) I think that’d make it even cooler!! 💞😻” :3

what sucks most (in my opinion) is that really big editors that are really good are getting a lot of (well deserved) views leaving people to not search for new editors so it's really hard to grow from editing (or maybe it's just my uploading inconsistency, idk)

Honestly, I agree. Also, some people have to accept that some things don’t last forever and its only trending for sometime. people are overtaking the community with templates and stolen edits. Yea, its really unfair to the actual good editors who put ACTUAL effort into their edits.
Hi, I’m a TH-camr who was very close to getting 50k subs for my edits and one day I lost motivation because I wasn’t getting as much views as I used to. The community may already be dead. I don’t see small editing creators anymore, I only see creators who have already made edits in the past and are well known and even they don’t make as much edits they used to.
I agree with you that after effects is not easy to learn and people just going on like “fix this fix that”. I feel like there should be more respect and support for the creators. Small and big. If we don’t fix this who will?

Even tho many popular editors quited, (like xiao) İ dont really think its dying tbh. Roblox editing is the most common thing that ppl do when they start a yt acc. Only using templates in ur vids can be annoying. But i dont think it kills the community
