@@Dislikecollector so in summary, VA's that voice characters like this game too, is having a strike due to because the Studio is trying to train AI without consent and bla bla bla, they dont get paid, and having hard time moving to a new studio to avoid strike. So basically they cant work yet
I thought someone said devsis wasnt using ai, and it was just other studios that the VAs worked for which caused their strike.@@smugweeb53

The current voice actor strike is still not over yet. In addition, all affected voice actors cannot go to work.
That means English dub is significantly affected for every game that lost English voice actors due to the strike!

Unfortunately, no. Yuri Lowenthal cannot return yet, because he joined the SAG-AFTRA strike due to voicing conflicts with the AI voice of Spider Man, without his consent. This led to him not voicing Genshin’s Dainsleif and Cookie Run’s Pure Vanilla Cookie.

Tbf I recommend either using this one, or using Japanese voice, and I also think that Japanese voice is more soft (the English voice over is more like, cartoon-ish?) plus they made shadow milk sound like an actual VILLIAN and not some "silly little jester who does no bad 😜" or sum shit (this one applies to every other voice over other than English one)

I can get the strike dilemma but why don't you guys switch to any other voice-over languages especially Korean or Japanese ? I have had the latter on since burning spice cookie came out and it's worth the experience. And hey, I skipped might of ancients part 3 for the awakening pure vanilla update. I have him at 5 stars and am about to ascend him to 1A as my first ancient cookie to get there as an f2p player.

Yes dude I actually just came back 4 days ago and there are a lotta events that can get you many gacha pulls and also some legendaries and ancients. Although u did miss out on a chest giving a free legendary so yeah, but u can still get a ton of stuff

Yep!! I came back after a year like a week ago and ive already gotten a majority of the cookies i missed! They give a ton of rewards, so it's not like you'll never catch up. Don't feel like you need to spend money either- you'll always be able to get powerful cookies without spending a dime

I hate how he has to be the 3rd ancient awakening when hes supposed to be final but instead they made it hurry and seriously? You really have to not be patient and just not put VA on him?
CRK doesnt have much control over the VA strike- its either no VA, or a different VA.
As for PV being 3rd, the other options were Hollyberry (who desperately needs it), or white lily (still way too soon IMO). Lorewise, it makes sense. The faerie kingdom is close to the spire of knowledge, so its not a stretch.
the english dub isn’t even a main priority for devsis, not everything revolves around it. plus devsis doesn’t even control what voice actors are on strike, and pv’s va could very well still be on strike for many years
