I love it when i see you interacting with your Nan. Many people with dementia are dumped in care homes and forgotten with famolies carrying on with their families as they no longer existed. It's a very sad world that these lovely people give so much during their lives only to be forgotten and sidelined when they in turn need them. I've had two aunts with dementia ohe of whom had Alzheimer's and to see them declining and nobody from their imediate families barely caring for them. Then to see you visiting your Nan and talking with her isxjust wonderfull to see! Your Nan has dementia but somewhere inside of her head she enjoys her visits with you. Carry on visiting her Jessica, enjoy what time your Nan has left and treasure any memories that you both share along with nnew ones. Thank you for sharing your visits with your Nan. 😊😊😊😊😊
Jess im glad you had a great holiday and its so great to see you back home with nan and sharing videos i wait daily to see what you post . Prayers and love coming yours and Nan's way . Have a great day
Nan having a sore throat just shows how you keep her throat well exercised by talking to her and listening to her little stories. It's soooooooo nice she has not become ill whilst you were away ❤❤
My mother had also dementia like your nan. She passed away at the age of 95 2 years ago. I think that you can help many people online to better understand what dementia means and how you can talk with people who have dementia.
Aww Jess it has felt like forever waiting for this vlog! I’m glad you had an amazing time and that everything with Nan is great, thankyou for sharing your heartwarming journey with us all, I lost my incredible Nan last year so watching you and your Nan really warms my heart so thankyou so much you are both amazing, keep being you always. ❤ my mother spoke to her mother and was looking for her brother, she found him as we where waiting for ambulance to take her home as her wish I took care of her with hospice, she found him into the light she came back crying she said I was talking to mom.she fit hard not wanting to leave us but I had to tell her it's OK we will take care of our brother that is handicap you go now to the light can you see it she said yes heaven is beautiful I held her hand as she left.so you are doing well and maybe you have met your calling in a career in nursing. I did it all my life but sure is difficult when it's a loved one.MAY GOD BLESS YOU ON THIS JOURNEY. We all face.Peace be with you.....USA
My mum's dad came to meet her, she was very close to him. That helped as she was suffering. I still miss her after 38 years. But I know when my time comes she will be there ❤❤😢

I adore your channel and your relationship with your Nan. You've just been to my birthplace and where I was raised. I am a dual citizen of the US and UK. I moved to England 16 years now. I fully understand how strange if teels to come back. I also believe in the wisdom of taking the gift and making memories. Your Nan would have it NO other way, and this we all should know by now. Sending love and compassion to you. Get some rest, and stay warm! x
I love your videos. Thank you for sharing your experience with Nan. Just some minutes into your video and I can relate so much 😢. As a caregiver myself (my mom has ALS and is not able to move her hands, arms and legs and my dad has Dementia). My brother and myself are sharing the carework at home for four years now. I have family and they have to bare a lot of the burden, as I am often not able to be with them as often as I would like. I am away every evening to ensure my parents hygiene before sleep. And every four or five weeks I am with my parents full time for 4-5 days. I am not able to go on holidays with my family.💔 It's been only twice in the four years that I have taken four days off to travel with my family, but it was exactly the feeling you are describing at the beginning of the video: I could not enjoy fully, because my mind was with my parents, especially with my dad.💔
Oh I am so glad you are back with your Nan, love it when you sing with Nan sorry about her voice it will get better . You have very pretty eyes you are a beautiful young woman inside and out . Till next time Susan in Ohio USA.😊❤
