My Mandarin is kinda half baked, but nanny was saying something like 'Oh, it can't measure you? Baby's so heavy! Are you that heavy?' ' when the scale was beeping the first time. I couldn't catch what she was saying as she was walking, or when she yelled something as the baby was being weighed. The second time, she was saying 'oh, again it can't measure you?' Third time she was basically joking 'baby, you're so fat! Too fat, little piggy Ya Zhu'.
@@tcchip I do so envy those who are bi or multilingual! I remember some of German and less of Spanish and French. Sigh…thanks again. Mandarin I wouldn’t even attempt to learn!
@@swissotto1 yeah I'm a Cantonese speaker but even so it took me years to speak Mandarin fluently, and I'm not literate. It's easy to take being multilingual for granted when you're from a country with many different ethnicities.
