Anyone can achieve this aesthetic. Pick a room in your house or apartment and transform it. Paint, decorative pieces, dark wood period looking furniture, fixtures and lamps with low lighting, gilded framed art, candles, you get the idea. Most of the items I've used to achieve this look in my own home came from thrift stores on the cheap. I don't like matchy, matchy stuff and go for an eclectic mix of styles, textures and colors. You'd be amazed how much is out there if you have the eye and know what look you want. It does NOT have to be expensive, only look expensive. Happy hunting for your treasures!

"Welcome, young traveller. Come in, it's time for you to learn the art of time travel."
The boy followed the elder into his home. The place looked very old. There were dusty books on the bookshelves and vintage furniture. The leather smell and the fireplace sounds gave some sort of nostalgia. The place was very big and probably had a lot of floors.
There were old paintings on the walls, and they were in golden frames. There was a soft music playing from an old radio, giving off a classic and mysterious vibe.
The old man was tall and slim, he wore a suit, it was not like the modern ones. This suit was more old, probably from a few centuries ago. His voice was raspy, like it wasn't used for a long time. The elder pointed at a table, surrounded by leather chairs. The leather had marks, showing how used they were.
The boy sat at the chair, the fireplace giving a soft glow to his face. The man brought a silver lined book, the pages yellow from the time. He opened the book and blew on the pages, sending a blow of dust to the floor. The elder then put the book on the table and sat next to the boy.
"I am glad that you finally found this place, young traveller. Your education will begin now. Remember, time travelling is not easy and will take a mental toll on you. Know that whatever I teach you in this room, stays in this room."
He looked at the boy, his old gray eyes filled with seriousness.
The youngling nodded and turned his head to the book.
And that, is how his education began. One day, he would become a great traveller, just like his mentor.

I’m there, back in time, transported to a place I’ve never been, yet I belong. I stand in my shadow with the warmth of fire on my face. The smell of old paper pulls me into the room. Nostalgic pictures hold me there. Mesmerized by music and the fall of subtle rain, I walk slowly from corner to corner, reminded of my past, lost in a world forgotten by others but precious to me. A tear trickles down my face conveying what words could never say. (Once again, I’m awed by the artistry and imagination of a creative mastermind whose untapped potential supersedes all others.)

The most weird thing of all, I never felt hungry or thirsty, I just wanted to walk all day in this house, watch its greatness and read the books.
Oh and the piano playing, there was a piano in a room upstairs, I never felt like going there, someone was playing on that piano everyday. I have no idea who that was. Man? Woman? No idea. I just enjoyed this eternity everyday….”

I clicked due to time travel. As I want to, I desire to, I need to go back to 1988. The screen reeling and started showing an old and beautiful study, so I was still waiting for the time travel method to begin while getting totally absorbed into this ...this soul wrenching notes. Now my time has stood still while my eyes are shut moments are lost or gained I don't know don't want to know. I'm happy. I'm happy. Thank You TERAVIBE.

I must say...this is incredible. Well done.
This one is my favorite because the camera kept moving around! I LOVE that! I wish someone would do one of these ambient videos where the camera actually walks through some of the fantastic builds OR if in the still images of a room, cafe, library or whatever they could have random figures come and sit in one of the distant chairs and start reading/writing or a dog randomly walks in and lays by a fire then falls asleep then gets up and looks around or walks away after sleeping for an 30 mins or a hour. You know, a kind of ambient “people watching” but mostly aimed at making a place feel like there is life there. I saw some videos set in pubs and they have great background sounds in them of dishes and distant conversations, but I always wish there were some random figures sitting at a table reading or drinking then they can get up and leave or whatever. Haha Maybe it’s just me. 🤷🏽♀️😁

Amiera sat among the large pile of books that were scattered around the large room. What partially looked like a library, was mostly the living room. With sofas sitting in different ways, and steam punk materials sitting upon the walls; Amiera felt at peace. The record that played a soft melodic tone made her smile, as she flipped the page of the book she was so engrossed in.
Even as her mind visualized the scenes playing within sight of her mind's eye; she didn't hear the clink of a cup and saucer being placed upon the table not too far from her. She didn't notice the whiff of golden mashed potatoes, fresh tender sirloin and steamed green beans now taking over the scent of the room. When she finally looked up through her green-rimmed glasses, her hazelnut eyes widened at the sight of a man sitting at the table by the fireplace. He wore a brown suit, with green patched at the elbow, a pair of pants to match and black polished shoes. His dark brown hair sat messily on his head, while he flipped through a newspaper, features concentrated on what he was reading.
"You know, it's not polite to stare," he mentions calmly.
A dark blush painted Amiera's cheeks, as she pulled the book back down onto her lap. The scent of dinner hit her nose now, and so did the spicy aroma of peppermint tea. Her stomach grumbled in protest, as she licked her dry lips.
At the sound, the man gives a chuckle, before picking up the cup of tea, and taking a sip. Once he finally made eye contact, Amiera nearly gasped. His eyes were the color of jade, and from the eerie light of the fireplace, she can tell that his skin was a little darker.
"Wh-who are you?" She asked with a confused expression.
She'd never seen him before. She was up late again, and usually had the night to herself once everyone went to bed. The man gave a raised eyebrow, smirking at the question.
"The name's Huey. Huey Dimples." He gestured towards the table, placing both on the ground now. "Come and eat before your food gets cold."
Knowing she had skipped dinner, Huey watched the girl walk over and take her seat across from him.
"Where did you come from? I don't remember my parents mentioning any guests coming tonight."
"I was invited in by one of the staff. I got stuck on the road, since my wagon lost its wheels."
"An ambush?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
That happened to her parents a few times when they went out to the market streets to buy food. They had been ambushed on their way home. She began eating her food.
Huey sighed deeply. "Something along the lines. Are you familiar with that kind of thing?"
"Sometimes. How long do you-?"
"Just for one night."
Amiera nodded, before continuing to eat her food.
"Amiera, do you believe in the supernatural?"
How did he know her name? She wondered.
"Super natural? I've read about in tons of books. I do believe it can be true."
"Would you like to go on a quest with me?"
"A quest?"
Huey smiled. "Why yes. Go to places you've never been, and see so many different places. Worlds, realms, the stone age."
Amiera finished her food, now listening intently. "That sounds like a lot of fun, but my parents wouldn't allow it."
"Overprotective parents? Yes, I hear ya," he mumbled. "Well, this quest will be long and dangerous. If you come along with me, you might not be able to come back." Standing to his feet, he took out a pocket watch, and opened it. Pressing a small golden button, a jade rectangular door appears within the room, holding a golden aura. Huey walked over to it, and turned the knob, but before he could open it; he turned towards Amiera.
"Instead of staying tonight, I could leave now. But then you'll never see me again. It's your choice, Amiera. Will you come with me, and travel to experience what time had to offer? Or stay here, live with your parents until you die of old age?"

Truly beautiful visuals and music. I don't usually like this classic style of decor / interior at all but I fell in love with this somehow...
To be honest, I was hoping to see more evidence of time travelling... like some "easter eggs" for us to find, not hidden and not obvious, such as relics from aeons ago or aeons ahead, a book title perhaps and even a modern piece of technology (wrapped in an appropriate covering to go with the house..).
Great job though...something about this really struck me....don't know what it is. Weird. A past life maybe? Who knows.

This is truly brilliant - love at first sight.
I keep coming back to this one and just keep watching it over and over again . It may be a time travellers house , but time has stood still here, and it mesmerises me. Hec man there is such an emotional and psychological pull by the images on this video , the feeling defies explanation . I'm not one to be lost for words , but geez , I'm tongue tied and dumbfounded . Its as if there is no world that exists, outside of the walls of this house . What a powerful powerful work of art this is .
