It did but it wasn’t working for me when I made this video, I have taken the gun apart since then but I did eventually get it to work.

Man how do you reduce the friction on the charging handle as I have made this but the charging handle doesn’t work because the rubber band is rubbing against the 1 by 2 bricks?

You can try pulling the bricks apart a little bit to get a bit of space for the rubber band, or you can use new bricks whichever is easiest.
