Don't wait sister. Just take Shahada. Inshallah everything will be fine. One thing is very very clear very very true as far as worldly life is concerned, every soul shall taste death. No one not a single logical person can't deny that. And it's certain that no one has ever escaped from death. And never will be escaped in future. So once you will face death, and it's all over. It will not even a split of second. If you have question, you can ask but you shouldn't just waste your precious time even after knowing the truth.

I am born a Muslim but I didn't feel like it the whole of my life, recently I've got a job in france, I moved here, and suddenly, I felt, lost, then I started searching for God and the meaning of this life, skipping all details, by looking up all different religions, with a heart and mind looking for the truth, real truth without prejudice, with a pure heart, I realised that I was born in the right path, however, I am still, not practicing Islam, I hope, that, God, guide me to him, and let me be a truly submissed to him, and save my soul and flesh from the hell fire, Amin.
All you have to do is get up and pray. It's easy for us born Muslims to stop practising but we make dua and then we act. We need to show we mean it by action not just by asking Allah for everything. We have to also take it in our own hands. It is possible. Just get up and pray before it is too late brother.
Before even praying, start reading the Quran. Because there is no prayer without the Quran in it. Just read anything and u will see that u can relate to it. Cuz Allah speaks to us directly thats one of the amazing things in the Quran and there is no book like it! Just read a bit and ponder on its meaning and try to practice a verse in ur life. Because we are not meant to just read it but also ponder about it, to self reflect and also act upon it and call others upon it and spread the good. My friend u have a reason in this life and if u just hold on the rope of Allah , u will have no fear. After u developed some connection with the Quran u can start praying and making duaa(talking to Allah). And know that there is not a better listener that exists except Allah, he is the powerful, all seeing and all hearing. May Allah love you and put love inside your heart for him
I watched the whole video. And I can see why Allah guided someone like James. He is open to listen and understand, he wants to acknowledge the truth. The fact that we have a book today in it's original language and 1400 years old is world's greatest wonder! We do take it for granted. And also the fact that it can be memorized with such ease! Amazing! People find a parchment from 300 years ago and go crazy but having an entire message of 600 pages preserved for so long is a crazy miracle.

And also the fact that it can be memorized with such ease! Amazing!
