Another good idea is to install a foot peddle steering with a light return spring. It frees up all your hands and your foot does the steering. Also we use a 12v bulb in your head lamps with a plug in to the main battery, you will never have to buy batteries again.
Doesn’t take long to get the technique down, but it takes years to get the feel perfected.. what I mean by that is nobody knows the bottom of the river better than a hand liner

Thanks for the video, I have never heard of this technique, it seems to be effective. How long does it take to get as good as you are at it?
