Landing Lake Ontario Salmon on the Campion Rage R22 Swim Platform

Spent the day on Lake O. with a buddy catching a couple dozen Salmon on riggers and dipsey divers. We forgot the net and had to improvise, luckily the Campion Rage R22 has a built-in swim platform that makes it easy to tail them and lift them in. We never lost a fish during this process. Landed countless salmon over the years and all with a net, I can tell you tailing them as we did does far less damage to the fish if you are releasing them. Hardly takes a scale off the fish, fun also! Not preaching at all, if I'm fishing a derby I will have one for sure but if not I am leaving it at home!
