- This video was caught on July 29th, 2020. The day before my birthday!
As I’ve said before, July is THE best month HANDS DOWN when it comes to Railfanning for us! Here again at West Dublin Granville Rd with my family, we’re also joined by Rail Gamer Productions who gave us a notice after we arrived here that there’d be a race!
As soon as we saw the headlights and noticed that Q634 was “winning” the race, we decided to cross over the tracks. Which proved to be a golden move because Q634 arrived at the Farmer’s Market first! The 2nd train coming up behind was K. The trains had the exact same sounding horn!!! I do apologize for the shakiness as both trains were extremely powerful and at one point my tripod got stuck after I tried filming the 1st train’s locomotives go by.
The 1st train Q634 was a mixed freight train that was led by an ES40DC and an AC4400CW! The 2nd train was a tanker train led by an ES44AH and its relative, the ET44AH!
I was hopeful that I could see a train on the last day of being 17 years old, but God surprised us all in a way no one expected!!! Thank you God! You are so GOOD!❤️❤️❤️ - บันเทิง
Happy belated Birthday bro! Fantastic catch of these two CSX trains racing, super cool! Man, I can't believe how awesome that was. Blessings brother!
Hakeem Sd70M LOVE YOU MAN!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I was really hoping that we’d be able to see a train on my last day of being a “kid”, but GOD SURPRISED US IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE!!!! I really appreciate all your comments and God Bless You Bro!
that one train was going faster than the other one and it seemed like that other one was going slow but good job on getting the video on them both 😊
Had this happen in folkston on one occasion. Unbelievable. Nice work dude!
Awesome catch man! It looks like they were going about the same speed too!
Thank you!! They were and ended very similarly to😃.
WOW! This has happened to my das while he works for the Norfolk Southern Railroad, Same with me whilse at a corssing! And Caboom! Now you! hope to see more races!
That was awesome! Great video!
glad to see you young guys interested in the trains! Enjoyed the vid. Thanks.
Very late to the party, but that was just cool. Great vid!
The literal party haha, Thanks you!! I’m really glad you liked it :)
@@Yannitron You're welcome! You do good work, man. Love your enthusiasm!
@@Rotarrin that means a lot brother thank you so much! I love keeping up a good and positive energy when railfanning and trains always get me excited! I subscribed to you just now :)
@@Yannitron Lol no need to that, but thanks anyway! I've subscribed to you as well. Cheers to a fellow railfan!
Ayyyyyyy awesome catch. These things are so rare and so awesome to catch! Glad you gotta see it
Thank you bro!!! They are incredibly rare and I got to see it the day right before my birthday!!!
CSX Train Number 1 VS CSX Train Number 2❤❤❤❤❤❤
That’s a nice train video
You betchya! God is extremely good !!!
Amen!
Awesome catch buddy I caught a triple train race at Conway
Thank you so much, and that's awesome to hear!
@@Yannitron thanks and I got a RARE Bessemer and Lake Erie train race a month ago
Espectacular!!!! Like 586.
You know how much trains weight when you’re literally seeing the camera shake
Epic
What was the symbol for the oil train
K446 (Now B650).
@@RodHarrellTheRailfanner okay thank you
Vary cool !
Awesome catch. I've always wanted to see a train race, but unfortunately we only have a single track near where I live.
This race is on!
That was an epic race!😀
Thank you so much!
Actually insane. Is typical for this CSX line down there? I always do the B&O up near north Baltimore and Deshler about once or twice a month and I rarely see something like this
Thank you! Honestly, a race like this is pretty rare here at Linworth on the CSX Columbus Sub (C&O) because 9 miles up north is Hyatts where the 2 tracks become single up till Delaware, so I was extremely shocked. We were able to catch that! Not complaining though🤩. Train meets are more common here than races, while train parades are in the middle of both in terms of rarity, but I’ve managed to catch all 3 here!
@@Yannitron Very nice!
Good Footage.
Thank you! It was fun!
Awesome stuff where is this at?
Thank you! This is at Linworth OH at the West Dublin-Granville Road railroad crossing.
Wwwwwwooooooouuuuuggggghhhhh!!!! I'm happy jealous of you for this one. Not only have I not yet successfully recorded a railfan video on Dublin Granville but you caught a train race???!!! These lines merge to one track at Hyatts Rd. further north, so that all the more reason that this is an awesome catch.
THANK YOU BRO!! AND YES I WAS JUST AS SHOCKED THINKING ABOUT HYATTS TOO! I really didn’t think it was possible that we would ever see a train race at this area of the C&O, let alone two full on, non-local, unit trains! To this day, this is the only train race we’ve ever caught on the C&O. My primary railroad crossing is the one just north of this one at Snouffer Rd, but this is a super close second. Hopefully someday, we can actually meet up here and film haha.
Yeah, you caught lightning in a bottle. With that said, count me in. We surely will have to hit up a railfan spot at some point then.
You got a new subscriber!
Thank you! Same to you!!
The front train that came first I thought it was an Amtrak but the front train won
Cool!
Nice train action.
Thank you Elliott!!! Our first Train Race!!!!
Nice new sub
Sorry, I’m just now seeing this but thanks! Just subscribed to you too :)
Yea nice catch
Nice job 👍
Thank you so much!
Muito bom!
I'll bet a CSX train wins
You’d be right indeed haha!
I'm going to take a wild guess here and say you may have made that crew a bit uncomfortable with your distance.
