I remember my last event and feeling the tension in the room... it was THICK! I joined for the energy so that was enough for me to realize that they were losing money and getting tight blaming Asia and all of other stuff and I saw first hand my entire city fall behind that company.... we were a small market.

Thank you for the TRUTH. It's just sad that, "We" the small people who are actually trying to find legit thing to explore our entrepreneurship, but we often get cheated ON by poor management of these, so called network marketing companies.
I love network marketing but, it can surely get u question everything when u come to find out the real truth behind closed doors. No wonder, ppl find it hard to trust mlm. Just sad.

Much respect for this Jex, I like many, haven't been heavy hitters with this company however, we had so many questions. I often questioned why so many have left after being in such a high level in this company, earning substantial income because we really are unaware what really happens behind the scenes. I appreciate your transparency, your loyalty, not to a company but for your ppl. This was refreshing!!! Blessings bro

Honest, transparent, and very direct!!! Appreciate all the value I received from you guys at trainings. It's been very disappointing to watch people who had to make heart-wrenching decisions to walk away from a company they loved still getting attacked on social media by those who have remained. Those people have completely misappropriated the word "loyalty". Loyalty to manipulation and deception is not loyalty; that's idolatry. Loved the relationship analogy. Giving people second chances is always important. However, if a person's spouse continues to be unfaithful, and even worse, abusive, should the abused spouse continue to put up with that? Of course not! A person who willingly knows they are in a toxic relationship and continues to remain in that relationship out of some ridiculous attachment to the word loyalty is lying to themselves. What has been the biggest disappointment to me is watching leaders defend their attachment to "the cause" in the name of Jesus. My faith is strong enough to know and understand that Christians are imperfect people, so I know that I, myself, am broken. Their actions don't for one minutes shake my faith in Christ. However, I wonder how many other people are questioning their faith because of the actions of Christ-followers in that company? I have seen the posts on social media, and I promise you this. A trail of toxicity and bitterness is not a fruit of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control should be our testimony. God bless you men on your new journey. I applaud you and appreciate you for stepping up and sharing.

@@odinquincannon4237 Thank you. I was especially disappointed in their actions because if I had knowledge of the dysfunction going on behind the scenes, then I know those top-level earners did, too. The Flye card fiasco was a good example of them pushing something they knew good and well wasn't going to get out of the Beta phase. They continued to hustle that card on social media well into January and February of 2018. By that time it was clear that Flye was dead. And yet, I saw several top leaders post on Facebook that the card would be out of Beta by the middle or end of 2018. You can't tell me they didn't know. They knew and sold unsuspecting people on lies. On top of that was the fact that they weren't paying people. Once I realized people weren't getting paid, I couldn't, in good conscience, show the deal any longer. At the end of the day, when we promote a company, its products, and a business opportunity, we are putting our own reputations behind the venture. I wasn't willing to do it. And then when I saw good people who just tried to walk away and pursue other business opportunities getting viciously attacked on social media, I said no more. I really don't know how some of these people can look at themselves in the mirror and can justify their support of the lies and frivolous lawsuits going on. No one was looking to leave three or four years ago. When you see a mass exodus of good people who loved that blue sign and the people associated with it, that should be enough evidence that the company has a lot to answer for. Zero transparency = the truth eventually comes out. I have no regrets though. My time there lead me to some great people who brought me to where I am now. The industry is still a good one. Just have to make sure you are with good people. Take care and appreciate your kind words.

Bill Garner once again, I cannot add much to what you said as I feel it’s spot-on. Some things I questioned deep in the back of my head, some came clear to me later. The disappointment I felt from what went on stung worse than I thought it could. And at the very least, the product and the fun was worth selling enough, I still love it, I just enjoyed a trip (booked months ago) with great people and made friends like I always do on those trips. Gonna miss that. Life goes on, though. Feeling the way I feel about the way things are and have been there, I cannot show that deal to people anymore.

I LOVED my time with Worldventures, but with seemingly endless "leaders" departing, what happened in the Asian Markets, the "David Wood" disaster, and now a small war over a cross recruiting scheme... WV had so much potential... But I am glad I stepped away when I did... I went to over 12 major events, drove 3 hours to every Regional training for nearly 4 years, went on 7 dreamtrips... Used Rovia to take 16 vacations in 2016... I was a passionate Rep... But business decisions in the company drove me away... I was even one of the first FLYE card recipients earning it through recruitment... Many of us losing massive monies in investments with the company behind the FLYE card... I believe WV WAS a great place to grow.... Too many bad corporate decisions... Over hype, no follow through...

I left to another company in 2014 which flopped but I never forgot your raw leadership and your influence in my career. Love what you doing with this podcast and thanks for sharing the raw truth like you always do. I may not be in your company, but I greatly appreciate you. Keep it up fam

I always felt something wasn’t right but I was just young n blind to the lifestyle you guys have so I brushed it off.. I put my life literally on the line for the company but slowly the truth unfolded n my gut told me again at the last event I went to (In Miami 2018) don’t get locked in one system look for more because something is up n I can smell it.. it’s just too much smiles n I can see straight thru the fake.. thank you for leaking what you guys needed to say it hopefully I catch you guys in the future we are billionaires regardless.. And when I made the switch a lot more people on my team that worked their asses off and wasn’t making anything in that company, came with me and started making a significant amount of money in which they and I were content about. They were getting rewarded for the hard work they were putting in!!!

Man this hit home , I built a team of 121 people with my closest friends and we where told to build deep instead of building strategically, four of us could have been recognized at one of the events as the first level of residual but we weren’t ever awarded that privilege because the so called “Mentor” we had was only looking out for himself, we built his whole pay leg
Unfortunately we all decided to leave the company around 2017 (All at different times) and since then I’ve only kept in touch with a select few people from my group , and lost a lot of friends due to network marketing
That’s why if they present me with Network Marketing today , I say no from the get go , I believe in the industry but not in the people
I worked day in and day out , Dropped out of school , became a laughingstock to my family for 2 and half years to then get out with nothing, I’m good.
This was honestly the best video and it closed up some unanswered questions, you guys are the best leaders I know , Thank you 🙏🏻

SimbatheCeo So sorry about what you went through. Network marketing, unfortunately, is a microcosm of society. There are wolves in sheep’s clothing everywhere. I am grateful that my time in WV (8 years) opened doors to meeting some genuine servant leaders who truly desire to grow a reputable company through honesty and transparency. Sadly, World Ventures has put a black eye on the industry and it’s good people like us who put our reputations on the line that suffered. Because we wanted to believe the corporate team was making good decisions behind the scenes, we promoted things like the Flye Card. What a debacle and another example in a long line of World Ventures futuring a product or service that never materialized. Best wishes and success to you.

This sounds like an “ugly divorce” fallout... Once the two partners in the marriage take a different route on their own and each one of them tries to “prove” it was not them who broke up the relationship ... “it was the other person’s fault”... It was sad to see Michael Jex (a leader I was looking forward to learn from at every presented opportunity) spilled so much ... ugliness towards a company that gave him and his family an opportunity for a better life when HE NEEDED! ... Who is perfect?!🤔
    It’s sad, very sad....😢😢😢

It's hard to understand another's perspective when you refuse to give any validity to the person's experience. This ugliness actually happened to thousands of people. Think about that for a while and find out for yourself what happened. Also he had to earn all he had, it was not given out of the blue.

    • @iliyanailieva6695
      @iliyanailieva6695 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Stefan, I’ve always believed there are three sides to any story - the two opposites AND the objective truth (it’s usually somewhere in the middle). It’s highly unlikely that we’ll find the REAL truth and who cares - these gentlemen seem to have found their way to happiness. I never doubted the fact he EARNED it! But the F*** language and talking with no names and real documents to support ... that’s the “ugliness” I am talking about. One thing I’ll agree with Michael Jex 150 % - money is not everything.
