- Thanks to Alan Hunter, of Hopes Garage in Langwathby, I got to hear of this private tractor-run just for a few friends of Alan, and of the Eden Valley Vintage Tractor Club. They started in Langwathby where I filmed the gathering, then up the hill under the railway, where I got them again. After traversing much countryside and slipping under the A66, they made their way to Morland where I filmed them crossing the river and then on to Shap, I was told. Fish and Chips at Shap or your own tucker!
Filmed in Cumbria, England.
NB Some people wish to know more details of location. I cannot do this because I always assure farmers of anonymity, and they are happy with this. Without it, some would turn me away, to your loss as well as mine!
It's always nice to remember the good old and reliable simple tractors that did their job on the best side! 👏👏👏👏
You got that right!
@@balmesh 👍👍
A really excellent video, and a beautiful collects of classics ! And good to see they were able to do this again.
Indeed! Dead right!
Great to see th'old uns out again Alan. And the unmistakable sound of David Browns,. Had a few of them before we went over to Ford's in 1977. Still have great memories of them.

Yes, thanks, it was very good to see them (and hear them).
Great to see you managed to capture the convoy in more than one place, nice to see a variety of tractors out on the run. Another excellent video there Alan.
Thanks very much 👍
Really nice Alan!
Many thanks Jan! Alan really thinks up some interesting routes for his tractor runs!
Nice catch Alan, some lovely old machines there. Can’t beat a stop a Shap Chippy too!
You got that right! Although the Shap Chippy isn't what it used to be!
This is true, I’ve not been too much since it changed hands.
Nice video!
Great to see that events like this are back on!

Great video Alan and a nice selection of pics too! Lovely to see these back in swing again after the last year!
Glad you enjoyed it Brian.
Fantastic they're back out😍
All great tractors but the Nuffield is the one for me😁
Good choice! First tractors I ever drove were the Nuffield Universal!

Yes they are!
Great video Alan with beautiful tractors, nice event...no events, trade fairs or other things like that here. Greets Stefan
Very true - thanks Stefan!
Привіт!!! Дуже гарні трактори!!! 👍👍👍👍👍🚜🚜🚜
Very true - thanks!
Was that a Leyland 2100 or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
Didn't notice the model number.
Noticed the exhaust up the back of the Leyland, anyone know why?
Fewer fumes?
Nothing here. It's so sad.
Shame - though it's not back to normal. No lunch in a country inn, but take away from the Chip Shop or your sandwiches on the grass!
Гарна підбірка техніки.
Very true - thanks!
Wow never see it before
But it's good to see?
@@balmesh yeah it looks good
