Squid fishing is getting very popular here on the South coast of England - good eating and great bait - both expensive to buy is a good reason to get the jigs out and stock up.
Squid used to be dirt cheap. Rebecca likes to eat it but I am not a fan of it. You used to be able to tell when the squid turned up in the harbour here as all the small fish would disappear from under the lights.
I remember many years ago sitting on the sea wall with a friend It was sunny and flat calm them the sky darkened with gulls coming in to land in the fields. Then came a gust of wind that did not seem to stop and an hour or two later we were being hit with a force 10 It can change so quick here.
Thought there might be bream back on the menu Trojs make sa change from Pollock and mackerel , nice bass well done Rebecca catch you two next time 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🦂😊😊
Noticed in all your videos the filming nearly always cuts off before we see what happens to the landed fish, would be nice to see them,if any go back, cos some of those bass were def under 42cm,just a thought
Its funny because it does not matter how big bass are in photos or videos someone will always claim fish being undersize. We do not and have not ever taken undersize fish. Most of the size limits on fish are to small to start with and I'm certainly not stupid enough to risk my licence let alone film it. All undersize fish go back as often shown in the videos along with many fish just oversize. Any protentional fish to be kept are placed in a box for a short time to calm them down, measured then either released or bled which is not shown on camera.
