I never figured Basara before but this time it's working! It's amazing how he can open up peeps, his feint game is ridicc, for me this is what it makes him so unique and fun, great video. Also his Hiougi is one of the best, right up there with Shiki's, can be combo'ed tho.
Awesome tutorial, I definitely learned a few things from this! The one thing I feel should be pointed out is that Aerial Jab also hits Overhead, and although it's reactable, Back Dash C Aerial Jab is a... I think 17 frame start up Overhead that hits from like 3/4 across the screen, and gives you that coveted knockdown for Puffball setups. (Forgive me if you mentioned it was an overhead and I missed it LOL)
Nice music from Tenchu Onikage he does remind you of him a little bit lol. Also I'm calling it now Basara is top ties maybe even S tier he has too much good shit.
I've been practicing with Basara against level 5 cpu opponents and do pretty well against most of them. The computer is never fooled by any of his mind games. Ever. So I just keep them away by spamming jumping forward medium Aerial Jab. The AI doesn't seem to know how to counter it on most characters. Genjuro and Nakoruru gave me some problems, and Shiki is so fast she easily counters it with her forward moving specials. Using light Ground Slash is more effective against her, but she's still a bad matchup for Basara. I've been having fun trying to master the timing of using his dodge, followed by his command grab. Good counter against rushdowns.
The meaty kick to 2A links seems very tight, cant get it off so far in practise :/ Great Video showing detailed usage of every button to start tailoring strategy 👍
Ninja: (noun) a person skilled in an activity. Ninja outlived Samurai (server) by means of stealth and subtlety. Basically, they are called a Spy. Basara loves a reusable shuriken, an extra insult to Samurai. But, if you must know history, Mina's bow was the preferred method of battle.
Does this game have the end match sequence. We're his wife falls into his arms and disappears ? Leaving him heartbroken? He is my main. Looking forward to the water dude sogetsu .. hope I spelled that correctly...
So for anyone who dared to try this game on Google’s stadia streaming service, are any of the DLC characters automatically available or do you have to buy them just like every other platform? I’m curious since every other platform save for the switch had the first season for free for a little while.

nah he has enough tools if he gets that buff then ninja's need to be able to combo into izuna drops
