That seems really fair. Sorry for the late response, this kinda got drowned in a wave of out of nowhere notifications. But I would love to commission you to do an AMV for the Netflix's Voltron to Imagine Dragons "I Bet my Life".
Well for the first part of the song(up until after the song finishes the chorus for the first time)I'd like it to focus on Pidge A.K.A Katie Holt and her brother Matt. For "Now remember when I told you that's the last you'll see of me" I'd like you to show the scene of them talking on the roof. Then for "Remember when I broke you down to tears" I'd like you to show Katie crying at Matts fake grave. Next for "I know I took the path that you would never want for me" I'd like you to show them first getting a good look at each other in the episode "Reunion"(which the previously mentioned scenes can also be found in). Then for "I gave you hell through all the years" I'd like you to show the hugging scene after the last one. Finally as it goes into the chorus I'd like you to show their fight. Then I'd like it to focus on Shiro and Keith's brotherly relationship. Mostly with Keith deciding to stay with the Blade of Marmora. For the last part(after the second chorus)I'd like you to show Keith giving up his position as the Black Lion paladin back to Shiro. Then, finally I'd like it to end on the big group hug scene from the end of the fourth seasons premiere and just some shots o the main cast happy together as the song winds down. I'm sorry if I'm being to nit picky or difficult on this. I'm not sure if you've seen Netflix's Voltron so I wanted to make sure to use detail in some areas. If you need anymore info just ask.
This is well edited. Though I wish you would have a more consistent clip quality. Some of them are 360 and others 1080, it's distracting. Also, there are a LOT of editing opportunities you had with this song that you didn't use because you were lazy. Every "thunder" sang by the lady in the back round would have been a good point in time to switch clips, or to focus on an explosive change of momentum.
Theodor Brekke while that is correct, there's only so much material I could work with, would I have liked to have HD videos throughout? Of course. No question. But I would be putting my computer at risk for viruses downloading from some sites. I totally wish I had more material to make it 110% perfect but I didn't want to be cliche or predictable. That kind of put me in a corner...
The only way you could be cliche or predictable is if you took footage from only season 2. Which I believe you did? You can download the episodes from kissanime I believe, simply right click the video and do "save as" and you'll down load the video file in the resolution that it is in. A rule of thumb is that you shouldn't make an amv and limit the footage to a *part* of the show. Don't pick a specific fight, a specific arc or a specific season. Amv's ought to have a theme, although you can tell a story with an amv it's a lot better to not spoil to much of the storyline with an amv. :)
I do have some footage from the first season but not much. The names I was given, only one really has any action sequences in the first season. Regardless. If you think you can do better, feel free!
I'm the one that commissioned this and after watching I had tears in my eyes I thought it was absolutely perfect. I have very vague details, just a list of my favorite characters, for her to work with and she did a fucking amazing job. I've watched this a total of 20 times (no lie) in the past two days. When I first watched it I fucking cried it was gorgeous. She made this to my specific tastes. I fucking love fight scenes, especially the ones from the sports festival so sorry it's not to your exact specifications but if you want one to be 100% perfect to you, make it yourself or commission someone and give them *exact* details on how to do it. Ellie, I fucking love this and I hope you know I still have tears in my eyes every time I rewatch it If I could marry an AMV I wouldn't be single anymore Love, The person who loves you and this to the death
