Actualy, this looks like a modern version of the late 60s- early 70s econoline. This is not the one that will replace the econoline, it will be the larger transit. The custom is not planned to come to America. Too bad, I want one so bad! The one at the auto show had a body kit and nice wheels, on the cargo version! It screemed to be customized. Ford so needs to bring it here.
Only a few days and I will have my new Ford Transit Custom Kombi :). It's the perfect van. The start & stop feature is incredible, I stopped for a moment and the motor stops magically and starts fluidly when I took the pedals.
Very nice van it is so much better than the Mercedes Vito on MPG and A bit better that the Volkswagen Transporter on MPG. I think it looks very nice and I really like the interior. The interior gadgets are very impressive and the size is very practical and I think that the long wheelbase might just fit in a average parking space but I am not sure. I think it can tow two tons which is very good for this size van, it might be more but I am not sure. A very nice van!!!

Sadly they aren’t the best at fuel consumption.
