- What a Beautiful Name Instrumental with Lyrics. Made for Horizons Church Praise Team, Buckhannon. I do not own the rights to this song. I made this video to be used in our chapel worship. No copyright infringement was intended in the making of this video. Please note that I have made a slight change to the first line in verse two to make it more in line with scripture. "You didn't want heaven without us" has been changed to "You wanted us in heaven with You." If my feet happen to get raked over the coals about this, I will pull the video from sharing.

The change in lyrics is good. It’s an otherwise beautiful song but the original line always frustrates me. It wrongfully suggests that God was lonely in heaven and needed us. Good edit and it’s very natural the way you worded it.
It is true that God is not lonely, nor does He need us. But, He loves us, and wants us. He created us to love and fellowship with Him, so He doesn't want heaven without us; so He brought heaven down.

This video was made so perfectly. Thank you, Ron. I've seen many sing-along worship videos but this one has the quality I looked for to use in public worship. I'd love to hear more about your take on the line "You didn't want heaven without us." In what way is it not scriptural? Thank you!
Thanks so much for your kind comments. Sometimes my reactions get a bit intense, and maybe I go overboard. My take is this::: On the surface, saying that "You didn't want heaven without us" is pretty close to my own "You wanted us in heaven with you." Without going into a lot of detail, it boils down to the fact that God's will would be accomplished regardless of our actions or decisions. The implication of the statement is not necessarily false, but could be taken as a "man-centered" statement. It was a lazily written line of text. There is no gloat whatsoever in my feeling that my statement more clearly reflects that sentiment that the song deserves. The song is BEAUTIFUL ! Hillsong certainly has some talented people in their midst.
I will leave you with this thought from John Piper of Desiring God website: You are teachers in the church. Let this sink in. James says, “Let not many of you become worship leaders” - because you are teachers (James 3:1). Let not many of you become worship leaders because, as teachers, you will be judged more strictly. Right after the pastor comes the worship leaders who are choosing what teaching is going to happen while people are singing their hearts out and absorbing all this truth (or non-truth) that these people have put in front of them.

I use 4k Video Downloader. It is free and seems very stable. Just install, run the program, click "share" below the video, and copy the link to the video. Open 4K Video Downloader and click "paste".
To be clear, CCLI is licensing for a whole year and covers all music/videos played (about $120-150/yr) for a small church. Please refer to their contract for copyright laws. I am NOT an expert, and I must by law say that my videos are not for re-distribution and are for use in our worship. Not even sure that covers me, but there it is. :)

how does the copyrights work for this...I'd like to use this in church?
Your church should be reporting song usage to CCLI licensing. That covers the song writers. Technically speaking, by me posting this song, and since I did not create the music, I would be in violation of copyright. However, I believe that Bethel Music, or whomever creates a song and distributes over TH-cam, does so with the expectation of other video-makers re-distributing their songs. Otherwise I would have been shut down a long time ago. They have a stake in getting their songs played more often in churches. However, I stress that CCLI licensing is the key. If you are the praise team leader, you should be submitting your list of any songs performed at church to CCLI. Along with that (of course) is an annual fee based mostly upon congregation size I think.
