Hey what's up brother. I just found your channel of your interview on the Shameless Protocol/CG-Kid channel. You are very well spoken and have a lot of knowledge to share. I hope you're still posting videos and I just subbed to your channel. Bro I wish peace and blessing unto you and look forward to more content. It's always good to see an intelligent black man on the internet. L8r fam!
Hi Jack, I am recently sober this year and I wanted to thank you for giving me something that has helped a lot. In your video with CG Kid you talked about how one time you had to sleep in an abandoned car in the winter. When I struggle with being thankful I think about this and I am suddenly able to be thankful for my bed, and from there I think about the other good things I have - food, a roof over my head, etc. I think about this most nights and it gives me a baseline of thankfulness that I can work from to fall asleep in a better state of mind.
I feel like your spot on with what you are saying and you are absolutely drawing the right conclusions! i myself have been holding up a mask, not showing myself, trying to be something "better" that was not me and it lead to panic attacks as well. the only way for me to go forward was to show the ugly side of me, being accepting of it as much as possible, LIVING AN AUTHENTIC LIFE, also putting boundries aka not caring what people might think. looking at the inside, not outside. happy to tell you, after being on this journey for two years, i got no panic attacks anymore.
