Hi! It's your friendly neighbourhood viewer from Norway! The little wooden candle sticks you mentioned were 'Norwegian or Swedish': Maybe they are. They have 'snowdrops' or 'snøklokke' on them, which is a flower that is our first sign of spring. When the 'hestehov' and 'snowdrops' are out, we know winter is over. We'd display something like this at Easter with yellow candles in them.

The elephant box is most likely soapstone and the blue candy dish is Hazel Atlas Azure Blue (and gorgeous!)

I watch a lot of ceramic mold TikToks, Arnel made ceramic molds in the 70’s like the mushroom canisters. Just rub a stick candle along the drawer racks and they will go flying.
Love the blue bowl. 💙 Looks 50's, 60's possibly. Can't get over how high the pricing was. Sheez! 😮

Hi Nicole! That one finger cup I bought from Target probably five years ago only in light pink swirled colors. I bought them for hot tea cups! They are made of a nice material…different than ceramic. When I was a kid my parents shopped for hot tea cups…they chose the Corelle green crazy daisy pattern that you hold with one finger! I guess I carried on that tradition!
The three armed candle holder is to fit a single holder. It makes the single a candelabra. You can add it to any odd numbered one, three makes six. Does that make sense? 😊

The bird thing with the spigot had it's bowl behind it. I don't think they were for holy water, but it was "a thing" in the 70s. Usually they had grapes on them. By the time I noticed them as a kid, the bowls usually had plastic ferns in them. 😂

Close to midnight...was just heading to bed when your video showed up in my YT thread on my cell. So grateful it did! First time to watch your channel...a new GW just opened near me so I thought I would see what yours had to offer after visiting mine. When you were looking at a candle holder or a candle a flame flashed in my mind! I remembered I left 2 candles burning in my home office! Yikes!!!! Immediately put your video on pause. Candles were pretty liquidy in their jars when I dashed in the room and blew them out. Wow....thanks for the save! Subscribing...and giving a big thumbs up to you! ❤👍❤

i really enjoy your videos. You must have been tired when you narrated. At 16:04, you called the Longaberger basket a Lamborghini basket. I always get my words switched up when I'm wore out. A little wax on the bottom of the drawer, and on the rails will make them glide in an out of the dresser like a breeze. I’ve actually used just the antiquing wax and it’s worked great! So never be turned off by stuck or uncooperative drawers.

Your prices may be a little high there but at least you have nice things. Our Goodwill stores here in the Charlotte North Carolina area has nothing but crap that i wouldn't even put out at a yard sale for 25 cents!

I have paid $25-$27 for made in England China teacup and saucer new. Prices at Goodwill seem great to me!

Mitterteich is a place in Northern Bavaria where there were several traditional porcelain manufacturers. Most of them went out of business in the early 90s. Mitterteich, however, is still available but only as a trade name. Another company bought the trademark and sells porcelain produced in Turkey under that brand. The mark on the plate you showed can be dated to 1918-1945.

I have enjoyed watching this channel. However I may have to stop. I am tired of the complaints about pricing at Goodwill. People are not aware of the many programs the Goodwill industry supports or the number of people they employ who can’t obtain employment elsewhere. The people who price items are not experienced merchandisers. You could always seek a manager to challenge a price.

My biggest complaint with Goodwill is the outlandish salary the CEO is provided with

I wonder if the over priced longaburger baskets wind up at the outlet bins? Have you seen them there?
Our bins have significantly reduced the amount of hard goods they put out unfortunately! It’s mostly clothes now with toys and plush. I don’t know what’s behind the switch but it definitely isn’t like it used to be! So, I don’t see much there anymore and definitely not longaberger.
