So I found a way to work around this. I tried it on IOS and it worked. Here is what you do. First log out of the game. Then log back in and to the equilibrium quest. Ignore the highlighted circle that is where the slime is supposed to be. Go directly to the man in the cage. Even though the Meng Dan is in the cage and you no longer have a key, you can still open it because you opened it before. Talk to Meng Dan. Complete his dialogue up through the part where Paimon gets happy about learning that you get a gift box for the food for Ningguang. After finishing the dialogue dont move away from the cage. Stay exactly where you are and log out of the game again. Log back in again and you will respawn next to the cage. Look across the water over to where the other highlighted circle is and you will now see the blue slime that Paimon has been talking about in the shallow water by the shore. Kill it and collect your tasty slime condensate.
There has been a workaround discovered: 1: Reload 2: Talk to guy in cage and exit game during the dialogue (for me on PS4 that was closing the application) 3: Restart 4: Slime appears

Hi,i found the fix on the forum so please spread it to everyone After talking to the guy in the cage, Alt F4 and then launch the game again ,the slime should have spawn hopefully iit works for all of you
@@rayleung1 yes, i am as well, i just stood next to the cage guy without talking to him, went to the menu, left the conputer for like 20 mins came back and the slime was there
@@derpygriffon2816 Oh sorry i did not know that, there's also someone commented on another video, that they waited until dark(the in-game time 2am) and the slime spawned. hopefully it works for you

When I do that it says I now have no key to open the cage even though I already had the key and opened the cage the key has been used. If I wanted to get the key again there are either no mobs to fight to get it dropped or when the mobs decide to spawn they now don’t drop the key.
I demand a small compensation of 1600 primogems

Not a bug , when u arrived at that location just logout the game then login back in the game.
i had this bug and it just got fixed by itself, i paused the game somewhere at night and i stood next to the cage. the slime just popped out there
paused it for about 20 mins, i went to it and came back to see the slime there
