This makes me so proud. When I attended Miles in the 80’s we didn’t have a marching band they would sometimes use the band from A. H. Parker high school which was my school. So proud to see how far Miles has come. 🙏💜👏🏾
DM seems like he wants to be seen to much. Other DM only make 1 sound and the squad knows what to do. When you’re good at what you do you will be noticed off gate.
The DMs need to gain a lil more confidence. Overall this was a good game. State still got it but PMM held their own all night. The BD is cocky af too. Let’s be a lil more professional. I was happy they moved over at the end of the game to be right in front of state though! Made the battle better. I was right in the middle so I got a good feel of both bands.
Excuse me, I would like to address a particular statement you've made. Their BD is a consummate professional! Others should actually take notes, and pray to the universe that their BD (and Staff) become even one tenth as talented, successful, and as accomplished in their lives. We are all entitled to our opinions, but to make such statements about someone you don't even know, is quite inept. Let's be a lil more respectful.
@@Anchiale7 and you don’t know me. What I DO know is he is in a SIAC band group on Facebook and is the ONLY director constantly stirring the pot with other SIAC schools. He’s not no angel like you are trying to make him out to be. He’s very cocky because he feels like he runs the SIAC and that may be true but we see what happens every time they try to go against a SWAC school. He’s forever talking shit instead of just focusing on his band. I didn’t say he was a bad person I said he’s cocky. Let’s stay in our lane.

Makes sense 💯% Videographers film at whatever angle they choose. He showed the band. You just chose not to look past the drum majors. The video title is correct. What angle did you want him to get? Because he showed them when they were marching to their seats at the top of the stairs. He showed upper and lower brass, he showed the Golden Stars and the flag line, he showed percussion, he showed woodwinds. So what did he not show? Just say you didn't watch the whole video LOL😂 If you have ever been in the band or have been filming bands for a while, then you would know band etiquette. Meaning you never break a section. In order for him to go up to each section just to get a close-up shot, would mean he would have to bombard everybody else that's also trying to get a shot, as well as getting in front of the band assistants/band aides.
I love this band... They are always on point ☝️... Bravo 👏👏👏...💟💟

I was thinking the same thing.
