Love your work as always. One note on the frame splice. Vertical is perfectly fine. A properly executed butt joint will fail at the base material adjacent to the weld, not the weld. The whole angle and Z joint thing is an old wives tail, a non applicable carry over from wood working.
Hi from Ireland love the work you do, being a welder for 30yrs myself have to say your pretty handy with the torch 👍🏻, just a tip if you don’t have heavy filler wire, tack two strands of the small stuff together side by side 😉, I’m mainly industrial pipe welding the last few years and it’s a trick I’ve used when I’m stuck for heavier wire, looking forward to the end product on this build 👍🏻
Another great video, thanks. It's starting to warm up here in northern Indiana, USA. In a few weeks I can start on the chassis on my 53 Chevy 3100 pickup. I'm running a 1000+HP 6-71 blown NOS Chevy inline 6 292 so I need to do quite a bit of work on the chassis. I really like your attention to detail and after watching you I think I can do this. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
You are doing a great job prepping that old deuce frame Jordan! Lots of attention to fine detail! Thanks for another fun video and good luck going forward.
While I admire and marvel at your attempts to locate and drill rivet holes there were significant production tolerances in that era. You will no doubt be creating a vehicle with significantly closer tolerances than original.
Tim Hortons ... not a bad drop its been a few years since I had one, must plan another trip back to CA to restock. Nice work on the repairs, I didnt realise the body had rust converter applied I thought it was linseed oil it looks good, the little fella looks like he is doing well. Cheers Greg
Cricket bat? Y’all have athletic bugs down there? Is this your day job, or do you have a regular income and this is a business beginning? Got started on the single seat build, haven’t had time to get to your first videos. Wish that I still had your enthusiasm! Long ago did, but now keeping up with my heroes takes priority! But at 71 I have 65 years of work experience and can enjoy craftsmanship from a seasoned perspective. And best of all I am still learning! Great stuff you are doing. Hurry up and get it rolling! Can’t wait……😅
This is our job full time at the moment, lots of future projects to come and many more ideas! Thanks for the kind words! This week it should be close to a roller!
Very enjoyable watch 👍🤣
Cheers Chris
Love seeing the next generation of hot rodders at the end of the video. Thank you for the video I appreciate you!
Let’s hope he appreciates them, by the time he’s grown up there

Make sure you put lots up on the build would love to follow along! Did a 54 gmc heavily modified with half the horse power
@@bennettscustomsco Half the horses is double what was supplied, and I used to haul around 12 tons with a 235. Should have been a real mover, eh?
One of the best builders out there
Definitely not, but strive to be great each day.

Thanks Jon! Hopefully it will become a roller this week, that will give me some excitement
Ben and Jordan, it would be cool to make a shirt with the Roadster lettering logo!
We were thinking the same thing!
Great job Jordan thanks for sharing the knowledge
Good work as always Jordan.

Gotta say, the shop decoration is full of interesting trinkets, but a whole Tim Hortons sign!? Did not expect that 🤣
Neither did I, probably why I couldn’t say no!
Good content as usual, & great looking kid❤
Cheers Kurt!

If you are in an area of the U.S. that has Publix stores, (at least south Florida stores) stock Tin Hortons! and it goes on sale BOGO once in a while
Thanks Greg! Yeah she’s definitely better than Starbucks!
What you said about not pushing too hard while grinding and generating too much heat is called "letting the tool do the work."
That’s it!
