Once when I searched music from "Vampire the masquerade: Redemption" I found that song. Then I finished it and I don't heard this song on it. But something like that I heard in the small location in New York if I remember right.

I discovered this song as a teen thanks to the Soundtrack of the video game "Vampire: The Masquerade" on PC, and have since then fantasized on creating a video clip for this song. Unfortunately I don't have the talent for graphic design. The clip would be in a medieval setting, a musical performance is given at some king's court. A stage is set right in front of a long banquet table, at the end of which the king sits and feasts. The room is lively and people are chatting and laughing. Music starts and the general lights fade out, only to allow floating purple and pink candles to appear by magic all around the room, creating a pink and purple dim atmosphere. The audience at this point has stopped their chattering. Halfway through the instrumental intro, abundant purple smoke start appearing from within the stage, covering it with a thick purple haze. Lyrics start as a woman's mouth-shaped cloud of smoke in the middle of the stage pronounces the first lyrics: "I...want...to...kill...you When you least expect it I'll bash your brains in When you least expect it" Instruments are brought in rythmically, and those instruments are steampunk-styled instruments (copper countrabass, drums, luth) floating in the air, manned by magic, no human, nor being of any sort is playing them. The smoke slowly shapes into a silhouette of a small woman. Lyrics start over again, as the silhouette comes out of the purple smoke; a Elvish version of Darling Violetta, with purplish hair and dark lipsticks, sporting a velvet purple dress sings. She dances very lascively: "You're afraid of flying Afraid of losing your mind But I don't want to know you Now there's no time It's both a lovely and a fearful thing To be captured by all of your feelings" The candles around the room shine more intensively as the chorus starts, and purple smoke comes out from the front of the stage like geysers. Darling Violetta eyes shine a bright purple light and her hair are blown back by the smoke: "I breathe into you Into you" As she pronounces "Into you", candle light and smoke recede, the room gets a bit darker to the point where only her silhouette is visible. She fades into the darkness, only to reappear behind one of the patrons sitting at a table to the side of the room. As she sings the next lyrics, she vanishes from time to time and move from table to table, playfully interacting with the patrons: "You run to me and Don't even know my name Desire's slowly becoming Your great escape You let me wonder Now I'll let you burn I promise nothing But still you return to me" On the last sentence, she turns into a cloud of smoke shaped as her silhouette, and reappears on stage for the chorus, just like the previous chorus, candlelights and smoke are bursting with energy, illuminating the room. She does not hold a mic, the sheer force of her voice is enough to be heard across the entire room: "I breathe into you I breathe into you You are real" And just like the end of the previous chorus, as she pronounces the last sentence, the room fades into dim candlelight, the smoke from the stage is now thick enough to cover the entire base of the stage's wooden floor, and is slowly pouring into the room and onto the banquet table in front of it. Darling Violetta is now nowhere to be seen, yet her voice is heard throughout the entire next chapter, as if it was coming out of the candles themselves, sometimes to the left of the room, sometimes to the right, and sometimes to the back. Patrons are looking around them, in desbelief and awe: "I walk through the morning Dandelion stares in my eyes I wish you were caught by now I'm afraid of what they'll find Take the box of magic Lay it in the back of your mind Can we wash in the morphine After we eat we'll be fine" At the end of the banquet table, closest to the stage, Darling Violetta slowly emerges out of the thick smoke, she's on her four, slowly crawling towards the king at the other end of the table: "You're the lonely lovers I've only known a few Take me within and you'll know what love is...easy Let me watch you dance Let me watch you sleep Kiss her with your tongue And you'll crawl to me again" She's close to the kind now, and she sits on her knees, bending her back and tilting her head backward. Her hands slowly browse across her body as she repeats "Can you feel it" multiple times. First it looks like she is carressing herself, but as the intensity grows, it becomes more firm, and eventually her fingers claw into her clothes, pulling and ripping in some places: "Can you feel it ? Can you feel it ? Can you feel it ? Can you feel it ? Can you feel it ? Can you feel it ? Can you feel it ? Can you feel it ? Can you feel it ? Can you feel it ? Can you feel it ? Can you feel it ?" At the climax of this chapter, and as she starts screaming into the next one, she rips of her dress and start floating in the air, still in that arched position, one of her leg is dingling in the air, and the other is folded, her head is now almost upside down as her body slowly levitates higher and higher in the air, her arms entirely spread open and into the void. There's no nudity, she is indeed without any clothes but she has a smooth skin that reveals only a pearlish white skin: "Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah" The last chorus starts as the camera turns back to the stage, here she is again, dressed again. Everything is bursting around her, the candlelights are now intermittently bursting with purple and pink flames to the sound of the drum, smoke geysers have turned into sparkles fountains. She sings like a rock star, bending her body forward, lifting her arms left and right as to command the geysers who seemingly obey her: "I breathe into you I breathe into you You are real I breathe into you I breathe into you You are real" The room fades to darkness on the last sentence, the floating candles disappear into the darkness, the instruments as well. The smoke slowly recedes into the ground, and the last thing you can see is the silhouette of Darling Violetta, and her purple iris shimmering in the dark. She closes her eyelids and thus entirely disappear in darkness. The lights of the room, that originally had magically disappeared come back to life, showing an empty stage. The room is baffled by what they just witnessed and is completely silent. The clip ends on a close up of the king, eyes wide-open, who exhales, as if he had held his breathe since the beginning of the song.
Is it bad that I typed this in when I was suuuuuper pissed and thinking bad thoughts about people? In other words, I love this song to pieces. I look it up to calm my nerves, strangely enough. And I love the change from the beginning. It starts off all sweet and pure with a creepy twist. But then she morphs into this sexy, dangerous tone. I love it.
@majaaa13 they're not satanistic ;) some people may think it 'cause this music is a little bit creepy and they have dark metaphor and goth/vampire references on their lyrics. I hope you dont mind those gossips :)
Another great band I only just heard about a decade after they disbanded. I like the spacey guitar swirls just before she scream-sings "Breath into you." The trick is to keep breathing...
its because the band did the "Angel" theme tune... you don't listen to music because of something, you listen to it because you like it, and everyone's tastes are different. Just because its not metal doesn't mean it isn't vampiric.

It is just a matter of taste ;) if you dont like it, just ignore it. you dont have to hear what I hear, and the same to me :) I dont like a bunch of bands, but I dont go to their youtube pages writing it all over there. You should do the same. People need to learn how to respect each other and their choices.
oh i know i dont associate metal with vampires, mostly classic and piano....it was recccomended on the site so i checked it out,..and its still quite good. the only thing that kind of disturbs me is her voice at the start, but when dhe gets in to the loud part her voice is good

Not enough people bought into them, they were too busy listening to garbage like Britney Spears at this point in time. Or maybe actually Garbage themselves, who are much better. But, anyways, frustrated with the lack of success, and lack of financial support probs, they split up. One of the great travesties of the world. 🙁

It's a mixture of Latin Jazz, Alt-Rock and Chamber Pop with Gothic and Burlesque influences. Very hard to classify.
