Been watching a few van videos and this pops in my feed. I 'sort' of get this because if you convert to a full camper you lose space and flexibility and it can cost quite a bit too. This may be the solution for some, but as a combi owning tent camper who just enjoys the amazing space and flexibility of the van for lugging the camping and surfing gear plus the wife, 2 kids and bikes this still feels like yet another space consuming & over engineerd solution. My advice, if you need the sleeping space inside the van go for the folding base made by 40 Winks or fabricate something similar for a few quid if you have the tools to do it. As for any form of cooking, get yourself a mini stove or if you want to cook seriously a cadac and get it well away from you van/awning/tent because of the smells and fat spitting as well as the fire risk. Think about it folks, unless you are 'wild camping' lol you are probably off to a well equipped site somewhere with great facilities for showering and dishwashing etc. But yes, I understand that like the classic footballers kitchens that never get used, these ready made solutions do look good and draw a lot of people in. Just my 2 penneth as they say..
Best day van I’ve seen So practical and without over doing it What more do you need! This is exactly what I’m going to do to mine (when I save up enough money 🤣)
