Hi Lexi! My name is Rachel and I sent you Ghouls of Howlfair (sorry if you read it already! I wasn’t sure lol) and The Silent Companions. No worries about the note! Just glad they made it you. I hope you enjoy The Silent Companions! Thank you for being the best BookTuber ever! Lots of love 💕
Love learning about new books from you, Lexi! Great video :) Could you do a video that is about middle grade and YA recs for "mild" books. I work at a nonprofit and I'd love to put together a list of books for our volunteer mentors to be able to read with the kiddos they mentor. These kids are in foster care so I've been trying to find books that don't have too many potential triggers. Orwell's Luck seems like a perfect book to add to my list!
What an amazing video! Thank you so much Lexi, I absolutely adore your and your channel. You're just pure magic and I have binge watched all your videos, because they're so lovely and whimsical. I can't wait for the next one ☺️
I honestly love your videos so much because I have no friends that love books as much as me so watching you is so great to have someone else who loves them like I do!!😊❤
Fish in a tree is such an amazing book! I am dyslexic and that book was the book that let me know that I too can read and live reading. Now I read all the time but that book is what started it all for me!
I just filmed a huge book haul too! I am so glad I found your channel! You are absolutely wonderful, bubbly, sweet, adorable and alluring. Thank you for all the fantastic middle grade recommendations!
People We Meet on Vacation has a predictable ending but honestly I will read anything Emily Henry writes. Her writing evokes such deep longing and emotions. Once again, what a very entertaining book haul!
I hope you love The Mary Shelley Club! Thanks for sharing your book mail in your hauls - it lets us know our mail arrived so we aren’t left wondering 😊
Thank you so much for sending it to me!!!! And of course! I always want to open these on camera so it feels like we're hanging out together 🥺❤️ I really appreciate the gift Kacey!! xxx
Love your videos. Lots of fun! I like that you have a slightly darker taste in books like dark Academia and Gothic (because i'm a huge fan of those genres). Also, be careful with the scissors. LOL :D
The Wives is such a good read .... also you make middle grade reads sound so good , I’ve never thought about reading them and now I have a whole list I can’t wait to get to !!
I highly recommend the Watchmaker of Filigree Street! The Dutch translation got published by the publishing house where I was interning at the time and I got to make a booktrailer and do other promo for it, so it has some special memories attached for me, but it's also just genuinely really good! The Cavendish home is also a GEM of a Middle Grade book. Intrigued to hear your thoughts on The Betrayals, I just started that one. Sisters sounds super good as well. Such a good haul!
I just started reading again a few months ago.. And i enjoy your reviews.. I just love the way you talk and all.. I usually save your recommendations.. And immediately followed.. You have the best enthusiasm in sharing your insights! Excited to read the books you shared! More power to your channel lexi! ❤️😍
Sorry I’m late to the party but I recommend The Historian and The Mists of Avalon. I just started watching your videos and have started a list of books to read or listen to. Thank you for your recommendations 📚
I just read The losers club and it was really amazing and really fast paced.. The chapters are so short that you would never put that book down once you start... It really helped me come out of a reading slump.😊 BTW loved your haul💓💓
Hi Lexi :) I'm very excited for A Spindle Splintered. I loved Harrow's first two books, and I think this is the first of two novellas she's writing. I hope you enjoy The Girl in the Tower. I love the entire Winternight trilogy, and I think this second one is the best written of the three.
Love your book hauls! These all look soo good!! My tbr is expanding yet again!! Bought the secret history and if we were Villains bc of you!! Started on secret history and enjoying it immensely
Your book haul videos are my favourite!! Also, i have been trying to remember the title of a book I adored when I was younger, and it was in this video!! The book is The Secret Order of the Gumm Street Girls and right when I saw the cover I knew that was it!
Literally so excited for this haul!! I think your my favorite booktuberrrrrr!!! I get so so happy when I see a new video in my feed! Also, adore your book choices!
Every time you guys do a book haul, I end up adding books to my book list. Thanx..lol. it's becoming a huge dang stack. Fantasy I wasn't reading much of, so I'm getting more into them. My book blog has been getting a lot of hits lately.
The Bear and The Nightingale series was a surprising favorite for me. Still have the last book to read, but I bought the UK editions of the whole trilogy 🤓
There are so many books I am looking forward to but next I hope to read Dune by Frank Herbert and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as I have been diving deeper into Sci-fi! Also my sister and I have a book club together and we plan to start Song of Achilles soon which I am so excited for! :)
Looooove the video. The way you always seem to almost burst from excitement about a wrapped book is so sweet. Would love a reading vlog where you read Legendborn, can’t wait for your reaction I just finished it couple of days ago. Likewise app doesn’t work in the U.K. 😫
Hi Lexie! I have read about half of "The Watchmaker of Filigree Street," by Natasha Pulley, and really enjoyed it so far. The problem with books is that there are so many, and not enough time. Perhaps after I have read through "Dune," by Frank Herbert, and "The Girl Who Drank the Moon," by Kelly Barnhill I will finish it. :) Thank you for being a peppy, and very cool book nerd.
I have 16 books in my collection that I have yet to read, so I wanna get through some of those this summer! Currently I'm reading "You" by Caroline Kepnes, and after that I'm going to read the sequel "Hidden Bodies"! I also just purchased: "Midnight sun" by Stephenie Meyer, "The last letter from your lover" by Jojo Moyes and "The Picture of Dorian Gray".
I want to read Midnight Sun as well. I enjoyed the series so much when I was young, but I'm afraid I won't like it as much now. I hope you enjoy and get to read all your books this Summer!
I got so confused when you showed the Ghouls of Howlfair, because i'm pretty sure that's a duplicate book for you, since I decided to rewatch your hauls from last year and you featured that book in one of the older hauls too
I’m not sure why but both of our replies are gone! TH-cam comments are acting weird. BUT! For anyone else reading this I did already have that book! However, I think it’s the thought that counts more than anything and I was still very grateful and excited to receive it as a gift❤️
