Boomerang by far is my favourite song in this album. All of the other b-sides are very similar sounding imo. That being said, i could easily see starlight as an encore stage and bawling my eyes out to it.
I love the fact that the girls continuing on writing the lyrics for the album just like the previous one. Hyeju wrote all of the lyrics for Girls' Night. Yeojin wrote all of the lyrics for Moonlight He Said I Said, Vivi wrote some of the lyrics. Yves and Gowon wrote some of the lyrics for Truman Show, and the fact that Yves came back and wrote for one of Loossemble's songs again is amazing and touching 😭❤️ And finally Hyunjin wrote all of the lyrics for Starlight. For me the best track is the title track, unlike last album, my least track was the title track. The B-sides really shines through from the last album. For One of a Kind, The Intro and Moonlight was okay for me. That bridge in Boomerang was super good 😭❤️ I freaking LOVE He Said I Said, made me smile so much when I first listen to it 🥰 Truman Show was amazing. I literally cried when I heard the chorus for the 1st time, the feels hits so hard for this one 😭❤️ And lastly, Starlight made me teared up a little too hearing the girls' vocals 🥹 A solid album I would say 🥰❤️
While I really like "Girls' Night", I think the b-sides on this mini-album are unfortunately not as strong as their self-titled debut mini-album. To me, [Loossemble] was an instant hit from "Searching for their friends" to "Strawberry Soda". This time, it felt like the company was playing it way too safe when selecting the b-sides - the only time I felt very excited was during 'Boomerang'.
Nah the b sides on this album are definitely equal to their self titled debut 😭 They’re playing around with genres just like how they did with their debut as well but the concept is teen crush
unfortunately i agree as an orbit but i think it's most likely due to the extremely short turn around between albums, they probably already had these demos saved for the future but picked the better bsides for the debut project (which was smart!)
This album was Loona's take on 3rd gen mainstream pop. It's well developed and goes into the sound of that time and brings nostalgia to me as a kpop fan. I liked a couple of songs on this mini and can enjoy what this album is about. It's very catchy and has a lot of replay. This album has grow on me over time. But their first mini was one of the best albums out of Loona in years, it's not easy to top that bar. Loossemble are bringing back to back bops to the table. The songs Loossemble have released this era are good but the group needs a stronger AR team to drive the direction of the album. I appreciate they are in a small company who might not have the budget or team of a big company but I hope they can improve on a couple of things to make Loossemble shine and help the group with their longevity. I hope they can nail the balance between Girls Night and their self titled mini bsides for their next comeback
All great songs, a bit of a throwback to the early and mid 2010s I feel like? Very nostalgic sound and an overall solid album. Loossemble was hard to beat so it didn't do that but they still delivered 6 flawless songs and I wouldn't expect anything else from Loona.

though i do like self titled leagues more, this mini was to flex production and vocals!!! the layering, the mixing, the instrumental (specifically for the first 4 tracks) were amazing even if its not my vibe

fun fact: Boomerang was in the running for title track but they ultimately went with Girls' Night because they wanted to do a high teen concept.
